The Algarve region
The algarve is known for its weather and beaches also its night life.The algarve has close links to the moors and spanish. The romans also built towns and villages that can still be seen today and visited.The weather is good for about 300 days a year coming to a peak july and august with milder weather september to december. The town of vilamoura is 15 kms away with the biggest marina in portugal over a thousand boats mored there and over a dozen golf courses which you can book through ourselves.

The area of pera has a sand festival held every year from june to october and artists from all ovar the worl take part in sculpturing sand designs. The famous Zoo Marine with its interactive dolphins is a five minutes away and accessible by a free bus service The park has water sildes and rides to keep young or old happy. The beach of aerias de porches is ideal for that romantic stroll of a night watching the sun go down or for just sun bathing. There are daily boat trips along the coast for either dolphin watching or fishing and the champagne parties that cruise overnight.The area has dozens of restaurants of all nations and flavours and fast food take aways if you prefer.The arera is very cosmopolitan with its typical portugese restaurants and modern foods blending very closely together.
