There are three double bedrooms with a sofa bed and a fold out single bed available if necessary.
The villa is set in a lovely rural location and is only 8kms from one of the Algarve's finest beaches, Armação de Pera .Gale and S. Rafael are also nearby It is an ideal location for guests who enjoy a peaceful break or walking in the countryside as well as those who prefer to spend their days on the beach enjoying the sunshine. Or enjoying a game of Golf with plenty of courses you only have to drive 15mins to the new5 star Pestana Silves Course . Salgados & Vale de Pinto are also accessible. And Amoeiras being currently developed nearby.
Shopping facilities are nearby at approx 5km on the N125. ‘Algarve Shopping’ in Guia features a hypermarket, a shopping mall, multiplex cinema, bowling & restaurants and is just 20 minutes by car.

The Algarve region
The Algarve is reknowned for it's year round sunshine which makes it a very popular destination throughout the whole year. with temperatures during April / May / October / November being in the lower 20sC. To June /July /August / September being upper 20sC-35C or more you could even enjoy the sun over Christmas . The area is steeped in History with so much to explore. You could visit Cape St Vincent , the most westerly point in Europe.see the Natural springs of the Monchique Mountains and try the local Honey as well as "Medronho"the local fire water. It has wonderful golf courses, beaches, restaurants weekly markets,shops, water & theme Parks, and various places of interest that are well worth a visit. Lisbon is only 2.5 hours away by car or easily accessible by train . And Spain just about 1 hour away.
Silves / Poco Barreto area
The Algarve is famous for its wonderful sandy beaches. The beach at Armação de Pera is the longest beach of the Algarve - over 3kms of long sandy beaches and small rocky coves. Praia Grande is just a further 10 mins away in a conservation area with wonderful sand dunes. It boasts an array of great restaurants and bars serving international cuisines along with the more traditional Portuguese dishes.
Poço Baretto is a small village just outside the town of Algoz.with the train line running through towards Silves. Algoz town has traditional bars and restaurants, bank, small supermarkets,and a shop that sells english items , a butchers bakers and various different shops selling Portuguese artifacts. Along with the monthly market which always draws the crowds selling fresh vegetables local honey ,cured meats , cheeses and cakes. Clothing ,shoes, towels tablecloths and bed linen along with a large array of plants and fruit trees.
Just 10 minutes by car is the historical city of Silves. Silves was once the capital of the whole district and was still referred to in the beginning of the 19th Century as the “Kingdom of the Algarve”. The impressive remains of Silves castle dates back to Moors and there is a impressive underground water reservoirs that are still used by the city today. The Gothic Cathedral was built on the site of an ancient mosque The original cork factory has been developed into a venue of cultural interest with a museum, bars and restaurants live shows and exhibitions.
There are many activities just a short drive from the villa. Aqualand, a giant water park set among lawns and palms with a huge array of pools and slides is located just 5kms away at Alcantarilha. , Krazyworld can be found a short distance from Algoz with a reptile house petting farm butterflies and krazy golf with large pool . Zoomarine, part zoo and part theme park with amazing shows and much more you can pre -book to swim with the Dolphins, 5kms away at Guia. is the large shopping centre (Algarve Shopping) is just 10 minutes by car. Some of the Algarves finest golf courses are within 15 minutes drive
How to get there
Fly to Faro airport from most uk airports with cheap flights available from Easyjet, Monarch ,Thompson Fly and British Airways.Car hire can be arranged for Airport pick up and drop off or just minutes away..Airport taxis are to be found outside the terminal . Montes da Caravela is only a 35 minute drive from the Airport Via the A22

The lounge has comfortable seating and Dining for six and a Piano. All the rooms have fans & Shutters which open onto terraces .With two outside Dining areas . A weekly linen and towel change can be arranged for your convenience. Drying area is available at the rear of the property
Further details outdoors: There is another house next to the villa which may be occupied . This house has a totally separate entrance and does not overlook the outside dining/sunbathing area for the villa.
The Villa has the benefit of three Dining areas , at the front and the back of the property with the nearby BBQ and walled seating areas. A refundable breakages deposit of £150 is required on booking and this will be returned, presuming there is no damage, within 7 to 14 days of departure.
