The villa is situated in the hamlet of Odelouca over looking the river of the same name. This is the ideal base for historic Silves where you wander through cobbled streets to castle and cathedral. There are also many bars and restaurants in Silves for you to enjoy. Many beaches,water and adventure parks, golf courses and the stunning monchique hills are all within a 20 minute drive. There is a private pool for you and your family to enjoy and why not finish the day with a barbarcue and relax on the sun furniture provided for you comfort. If you enjoy walking you can walk through some of the beautiful countryside that surronds the villa.

The Algarve region
The Algarve is the most southern region of Portugal and it's well known for glorious year round sunshine and excellent sandy beaches. These vary from secluded coves with amazing cliffs to vast stretches of golden sandy beaches. Inland you will find small villages barely touched by tourism which are well worth visitng. Traces of the Moorish presence are still evident in the local architecture especially in silves. The orange groves and blossoming almond trees add colour to this fertile region in contrast with the whitewashed traditional houses. Due to the mild nature of the weather the Algarve is ideal for many outdoor sporting activities such as water sports, and numerous world-class golf courses, tennis, horse riding, and many more.
Silves / Odelouca area
The town of Silves is only a short drive from the villa and there is lots to do and see. Once the moorish capital of the Algarve there is still evidence of it's moorish past in the castle and cathedral. Whilst wandering through the cobbled streets there is lots of bars and excellent restaurants for you to choose from. During the summer months Fabric ingles host live shows nightly, Silves also hosts its own beer festival where you can taste lots of local,regional and international beers , or the medieval fair which is spread over one week lets you imagine how silves would have looked during this period. Silves also has two large supermakets where you can pick up fresh food and drink or try the local market which is held most days in silves where local produce is available. The village of odeloca is surrounded by the hills of monchique and the river odelouca runs through the village. There is two local bars within 15 minutes walk from the villa and a local restaurant which serves local dishes at lunchtimes. Or within a 5 minute walk Sito encantanda, where horseriding and use of the complex swimming pool at a small fee. Or you can sit at the bar and enjoy a drink whilst taking in the beautiful scenery.

Further details indoors: The Property is well equipped with sky tv, 42inch plasma TV, dvd player and music centre, fully fitted kitcheng including washing machine, dishwasher, iron and ironing board. There is a large dining table with eight chairs, the villa has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable . The bedrooms are all airconditioned two doubles with built in wardrobes and safes and a twin room, one of the doubles is en-suite. There is a large dining room with an additional seating area, leading to the lounge which in turn leads onto a balcony with views of the river valley.
Further details outdoors: The garden area is well stocked with fruit trees which you are welcome to pick when in season. Along side the garden runs a drive with plenty of parking. At the back of the property there is a large barbarcue area with seating and a palm tree, this is next to the pool area which has sun loungers for you to enjoy the hot portugeuse sun and cool off with a dip.

You will be met on arrival by ourselves, we also provide a starter pack to get your holiday off to a good start . We are also available for any help or advice during your stay. The linen and towels are provided but please note that the towels are not to be used around the pool or the beach so please bring your own. This property is child friendly and we can leave toys and books, c.d.s, dvd's and videos, but we are not responsible for any accidents that may occur at the property whilst you are staying there.
Conditions
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the villa except on the balcony and around pool and barbarque area, ashtrays will be available. 20% non-refundable depoist is required to secure your booking and the the balance to paid 8 weeks before arrival. A £200 damage depoist is required when we receive your final payment this will be refunded after departure.

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. We require a 20% non-refundable depoist to secure the booking of the villa. The final payment is 8 weeks prior to your stay. There is a £200.00 Damage depoist required which is refunded after departure if no breakages. We prefer to be paid via bank transfer of cheque in £ stearling or Euros.
