The property has been exceptionally well renovated and is light, airy and very spacious. La Capannina is complimented by the buildings original features such as the exposed chestnut beams and the traditional Tuscan brickwork. The living room offers an open plan design and is furnished with modern Italian furniture.
La Capannina is ideally suited to two families and offers 180 m2 of living space and can sleep 8 persons in total. The external building materials of the property comprise of brick and glass. The main facia of the property is mainly glass and allows a natural abundance of sun light in to the house during the day time.
On the ground floor you will find a large dining room that is combined with a well equipped kitchen that boasts an oven, hob, refrigerator, dishwasher and washing machine.
As you walk down the few small steps you arrive in the living room, where a traditional fireplace and settees welcome you. As you lead out of the living room you enter the large garden terrace where your eyes feast upon the surrounding vineyards, olive groves and rolling patchwork fields. Wrought iron tables and chairs entice you to fill your glass and take refuge for a few minutes whist you gather your thoughts and enjoy this paradise like experience.
In total La Capannina has 4 bedrooms. There are 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms. One of the double bedrooms offers and en suite bathroom with shower and for the remainder of the guests there are 2 further bathrooms, one with shower and one with a bath.
The garden boasts a beautiful swimming pool measuring 8x4 metres and a breathtaking view of Siena which sits on the horizon.

The Tuscany region
The close proximity of the property to Siena means that there are many places of interest close by. You can start your holiday by exploring the beautiful local villages and if you feel the urge to explore further a field you can venture to the classical cities such as Siena, Florence, Arezzo, Volterra, San Gimignano and Colle which are all within easy reach.
Siena area
The coast can be easily reached within an hour if you head south west to Grossetto where you will discover its many sandy beaches which is a wonderful day out for children and adults alike.
For the wine connoisseurs amongst you we recommend travelling to Catel Nuovo, Beradenga, Radda, Gaiole or Castellina in Chianti where you can taste the wines directly for the local cantinas.
Basic shopping is convenient at Pianella which is approximately 2 km away and there is a large supermarket which will cater for all of your needs on the outskirts of Siena which is approximately 6 km away.
The owners of the family estate produce their own olive products, red wine and Vin Santo (The famous sweet Tuscan wine of the region), these are well worth a try and should be sampled before to leave.

All holiday property prices are in € per week for the number of people stated in bold unless otherwise stated in € per day.
Accommodation weeks usually run from Saturday to Saturday and include linen, water, electricity, and gas unless otherwise stated. The heating costs and housekeeping fees are paid directly to the landlord and are dependent on usage please be aware heating costs are expensive in Italy. Almost all landlords require a security deposit between 100 € and 500 €. The full balance of the deposit will be returned at the end of stay provided that the property is in the same condition as when you arrived and there are no damaged/ broken items. All linens should be returned in the same number and conditions on departure if they are not the landlords have the right to keep the deposit at their discretion.
