The owners worked hard to maintain the original materials and architectural structure of this mansion/cottage that has its origins in the 17th century in order to preserve its authenticity. The glass entrance leads you directly in the spacious kitchen which also has a fire place with a chimney. 11 steps bring you to the upper floor directly to the master bedroom that has a covered bed and air conditioning. From the window you can enjoy a beautiful view of the characteristic Tuscan landscape. The master bedroom is separated from the bathroom by a terracotta gate; two washing basins in a walnut frame and from the big bath tub one can admire the natural surroundings. The beautiful bath facilities are accompanied by a glass shower stall and a separate toilette and bidet. The interior design fits perfectly in the rural character of this Tuscan /cottage. The Suite is ideal for 2 + 2 persons the double-bedded sofa in the kitchen can function as a bed. In total, the apartment has a size of 75sqm.

The Tuscany region
La Palazzina is situated near important thermal points, perfect for a winter weekend getaway relaxing at full at the Petriolo, Saturnia or San Filippo thermal baths. Art cities, cultural points and places of interest located nearby are Montalcino, Pienza, the San Galgano Abbey and San Gimignano to mention a few. The sea and the mountains are also within easy reach, La Palazzina is situated 70 km from the beach and Km 40 from the sky resorts of Mount Amiata.
The estate, located up on a hill ( 420 Mt of altitude ) with a splendid panorama and encircled by forests, has the comfort of an asphalted road of access and within 5 km of distance you can reach the charming medieval villages of Casciano and Vescovado di Murlo.
Siena / Murlo area
La Palazzina offers different amenities, the paths around the property are specially suitable for pleasant walks, biking or horse riding. We organize events in the evenings where you will be able to enjoy typical and delicious culinary specialties (such as mushroom), have fun and find new friends.
We organize also trips and excursions to the nearby hills, forests and rivers where you will admire the beauties of the Tuscan countryside. It is also possible to do these excursions later in the evening in order to discover nature and animals by night. Splendid excursions by motorbike in the surrounding hills.
For families, our farmhouse, is an ideal place, all the apartments are located near the pool and near all the other facilities and activities which are all at your disposal throughout the day. Guests will enjoy relaxing baths in the swimming pool, a barbeque and a brick oven.
