The Tuscany region

Siena / Radicondoli area
Radicondoli is a Tuscan hilltop town located in the northern part of the "Metalliferous Hills" on the borders of the Alta Maremma between the Val d’Elsa and the Val de Cecina. It is about 50 km from Sienna Surrounded by olive groves and vineyards of Chianti, Siena is one of the more beautiful cities of Tuscany. Set on three hills, the city is a mass of winding alleyways and steep steps, At the heart, Piazza del Campo and the Duomo and St Maria della Scala serve as additional cultural landmarks. Famous for the "Palio", the annual historic horse-races that take place on 2 July and 16 August, it is also home to one of the oldest Universities in Europe, which boasts a bustling Italian student atmosphere throughout the academic year. In addition to the busy daily life of the streets and squares of the city, Siena offers many cultural events, concerts, cinema, theatre and a wide range of sporting activities.

Further details outdoors: Outside, the hilly countryside provides many places for sunbathing and eating, with a young, developing garden terraced on the steeper parts of the land. An above ground round swimming pool (6m) has been installed half in the ground, with a stone patio.
