The farmhouse offers 3 apartments and an independent barn, all restored with care and attention to detail. A large garden offers an inviting swimming pool and magnificent views over the surrounding hills and the nearby hilltop village of Radicondoli.
Marcigliana is a quiet place for gaining new strength, allowing for relaxation by the panoramic pool or taking sightseeing daytrips, experiencing Tuscan village life, walking in unspoilt, breathtakingly beautiful countryside, exploring the ancient spas scattered around the valley. Pietro and his family are very warm, generous, positive and fun loving Sardinians who will love to introduce you to Italian culture if you want to! They do not live on the farm but are present for farming everyday. You are welcome to join in any farming activity like milking the sheep and making the cheese. The shared panoramic swimming pool is only 50 mts away in a quiet and discreet position.

The Tuscany region
Fantastic weather from May to October, May and September being the very best months to enjoy the natural setting, the sunlight and temperature. Radicondoli and Belforte are perfecly preserved Medieval villages that have kept their character and very lively community. This area is in fact one of the few still authentic and unspoilt parts of Tuscany, away from the limelight and off the beaten track. Very close to stunning art cities as Siena, Florence and S. Gimignano, but immersed in wild nature.
Siena / Radicondoli area
Radicondoli is a pictoresque village, set high on the hills of the Colline Metallifere, offering breathtaking views of the valleys around - stretching as far as Volterra and S. Gimignano. It has a very strong identity and a very lively community. Throughout the year many village feasts liven up the otherwise quiet lifestyle. The village brass band is a gem. Events worth mentioning are 1 May, S. Giovanni on 23 June; the famous Drama Festival from 27 July to 12 August which attracts Italian and International artists.

Further details indoors: Il Podere, originally the farmer's own house, features a very large and cool open living area which used to host large dinners at the end of the hard farming days, a large fireplace and a fully fitted kitchen. Off the living room are two double bedrooms and a large bathroom. Besides the beautiful apartment (110 sqm)- the highlight is the private panoramic terrace (100sqm) with BBQ, table and chairs. The apartment is equipped with tv and satellite.
