SPECIAL OFFERT NO CRISIS, PLEASE CONTACT US :) Il Vecchio Mulino is situated among the rolling curvaceous hills of the Sienese countryside , on the border of the provinces of Siena Florence Pisa and Grossetto in the picturesque medieval towns of Radicondoli and Belforte . In the early 1800, in the ancient cottage that was once part of the county of Radicondoli, a mill was built where peasants of nearby towns brought wheat, barley, and olives; it is still possible today to admire the impressive millstones once pulled by oxes.
Today it has been restructured and extended, maintain of course all of it’s original architectural features and charm. The edifice is surrounded by beautiful gardens leading to a lovely swimming-pool where you can relax among the olive trees.
For those who love eating outdoors in company there’s a gazebo with barbecue BBQ, all ready to enjoy the local produce; wines, typical Tuscan fare and many delicacies- these days more and more difficult to find.

Radicondoli's castle was built in the twelth century on the site of an existing inhabited centre, the same development took place for the castles of Belforte,Falsini and Fosini. There are archaeological findings going back to the early paleolitic time, through to the Etruscan and then the Roman periods.
However, the most enduring aspect of the village is its medieval development which has been so well preserved so that we now have an almost totally unaltered medieval landscape and urban structure.
