Villa le Crete is immersed in an Oasis of charm and beauty and is surrounded by private gardens where there is a raised swimming pool 8x4x1.40. The Large, open arched patio with view of the surrounded countryside, where you can enjoy "meals al fresco" will surely add to the delight of your holiday.

A short, pleasant stroll will take you to the local bar/restaurant and small grocery store.
Within easy reach of many smaller enchanting villages and hamlets and Siena is just 20 minutes drive away.

The Tuscany / Siena Province region

Tuscany is an area in Central Italy. Tuscany has a unique culinary tradition and is very well known for its wines-more famously Chianti! Tuscany is also known for its Artists and great paintings and sculptures, not to mention the Architectural masterpieces.

There are many reasons to visit Tuscany form the beautiful countryside, fine wine and cuisine, mountain paths for walking and cycling, the fine art and to learn the language!

Tuscany is a great destination for shopping in Italy. The larger cities for shopping are Siena and Florence with boutiques and brand name shops. The villages often focus on the weekly markets with local craftsmen who host workshops.

The Siena area

Many are the ancient monuments such as the "Duomo" Siena's cathedral, which is one of the great examples of Italian Romanesque architecture, "St Maria della Scala", the Sanctuary of Santa Caterina, incorporating the old house of St. Catherine of Siena. Where you will find the miraculous Crucifix (late 12th century) from which the saint received her stigmata, and a 15th century statue of St. Catherine.

Siena offers many cultural events, concerts, cinema, theatre and a wide range of sporting activities.

Few geographical areas in the world can boast of the variety of environment that surrounds Siena. To the north is the Chianti region with rolling hills covered in olive groves and the vineyards formations.

This area is probably the most scenic in Italy with towns such as San Gimignano and Monteriggioni. A short drive will take you to Montepulciano and Montalcino a little hill top town in the Arbia valley where the famous Brunello wine is produced.

To the west is "La Creke" offering an astounding landscape with the contrast of the harsh rock.
