Further details outdoors:
The jungle gardens were established on the grounds by famous french artist Michel Delacroix and his wife when the houses were built for their family.
The gardens have grown and expanded and are a haven for butterflies, local squirrels and other suburban wildlife not to mention the amazing displays of tropical orchids at certain times of the year. We also have a range of trees and shrubs that bear fruit and provide authentic additional flavours to the khmer cuisine served on our restaurant.
The jungle pool is a salt water pool with a waterfall and shallow area for children as well as a deeper end to dive into for a refreshing dip after the temples.
At night time you can dine around the pool and soak up the tropical atmosphere as you sip a cocktail or two.
Room rates include VAT and breakfast.
We offer airport or bus/boat pick for $7 per 2 persons

The Siem Reap Province region
"Of all Cambodia's treasures, the richest is
its resilient people." - Lonely Planet
Ancient temples, empty beaches, mighty rivers, remote forests...and (outside Angkor) only a handful of tourists.
But the word is out - Cambodia has emerged from decades of war and isolation and is well and truly back on the South East Asian travel map.
Overview - Most major airlines can arrange connecting flights into Cambodia. Bangkok is the easiest place to pick up a flight to Phnom Penh or Siem Reap. Flights to the capital also fly out of Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Vientiane and Guangzhou. A international airport is 9km (5 miles) north of Siem Reap. A taxi to the city centre costs around US$10, and Tuk Tuks charge US$6 or so per passenger.
CLIMATE & WEATHER
From December to April the climate in Cambodia is at its driest with abundant sunshine and temperatures often range from 20 - 38ºC (95ºF) in April, the hottest month.
The humid south western monsoon from May to October sees rain fall mostly in the afternoon, accounting for 70% - 80% of annual rainfall.
The temperatures around this time can range from 26 -30ºC mark (around 76 - 88ºF) and this is an excellent time to be in Cambodia. Many of the temples have water features which are full during this time.

The Siem Reap City / Treang Village in Siem Reap area
Around The RiverGarden is an abundance of local villages, shopping, the new National Museum is within 5 - 7 minutes walk. We have local stone carvers and the area is developing an arty flavour with the opening of private gallery and a number of local artisans close by.
Treang village is part of the urbanscape of Siem Reap so more of a suburb that is away from the hectic city traffic but close enough to get to easily and quickly so you have easy access to "Pub Street" the old market area, the french quarter, pubs, clubs and restaurants.
The ancient river road we are on was the main access to Angkor Wat, which is within easy reach as are the many thousands of temple sites in the area.
