We live in the adjoining cottage and have spared no expense in renovating the property which is beautifully furnished with many homely touches throughout, a real home from home, with an open log fire making this an ideal cottage for a holiday at any time of year.
The cottage is large with three very big double bedrooms, a spacious sittingroom, separate dining room, kitchen and sun lounge. You will have loads of space to relax and enjoy the views of the garden and the surrounding countryside.

The West Country / Devon region
The Westcountry is the ideal place to stay for both fantastic countryside and amazing coastal towns. Sidmouth is close to Dartmoor, Exmoor and the the cathedral City of Exeter.
There is something for everyone in Devon. There are plenty of family attractions open all year round. The beaches are clean and the people are very friendly. We get some of the best weather in England and you wont be disappointed with your stay.
Sidmouth / Newton Poppleford area
Newton Poppleford is well situated for exploring East Devon, the coastal resorts of Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth are only 15 minute drive away with access to the East Devon coastal path. From the property there are lovely country walks towards Woodbury Common, where you will find Nigel Mansel’s renowned golf and leisure club, freshwater lakes for fishing, RSBB nature reserve and horse riding.
Newton Poppleford is a short drive from the wonderful gardens at Bicton College. It is a idea base for seeing attractions like Creally, Woodlands and Paignton Zoo. The beaches of Sidmouth and Exmouth are excellent for families.

There are three spacious bedrooms, one with twin beds, one with a double bed and one with king size double bed. All rooms have far reaching views over rolling Devon countryside.
Services Colour TV, DVD, Hi-fi, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer, Microwave, Dishwasher, Fridge and separate Deep Freeze. Oil fired central heating. All bed linen, oil and electricity included. We ask guests not to smoke inside the property. Parking for up to four cars. Enclosed south facing private patio area with garden furniture. Use of the garden.
Pets are welcome but only by prior arrangement charged at 15.00 per week.
We have lived in Newton Poppleford for over 50 years and it is a lovely place to get away from it all and relax in the peaceful countryside. We have spared no expense renovating the cottage with new carpets, kitchen, central heating, bathroom and furniture. Every room has been decorated tastefully to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
