"Very comfortable and well equipped"
a great location for exploring the Jurassic & Triassic coast and the SW Coast Path. Only 20 minutes easy walking down into Sidmouth (uphill back...) with good bus connections along the coast and to Exeter.
The Delderfield Suite is compact, cosy & very comfortable with access easily from the good car park with no steps.

"I recommend Bulverton House to my friends."
This was our second year to stay in the Delderfield Suite at the Bulverton House. We enjoyed it just as much as the first time and plan to go again next year. The Delderfield is beautifully decorated and spotless. The kitchen is fully equipped and enjoyable to use. It's perfectly located for exploring Sidmouth and the surrounding countryside.

"This is a really lovely holiday apartment in a beautiful location"
We were met by our friendly host. The apartment was lovely, well equiped and warm. There is lots to see and do. We particularly enjoyed the quarry caves at Beer and lunch at Otterton Mill half way around one of our walks. There was nothing not to like, even the weather was kind.

"A comfortable and stylish, modern conversion"
We have just completed a weeks' stay in the Delderfield suite and were very pleased with the very high standard of accommodation and the town of Sidmouth, a regency town with some lovely independent shops and cafés. Geoffrey has thought of everything and there is plenty of instant hot water and a lovely sheltered courtyard garden which gets the sun all day long.

"Excellent Luxury Accommodation"
An immaculately presented property fully equipped with everything you will need to enjoy your visit to the Sidmouth area. We particularly enjoyed the thoughtful extras that included fresh flowers, chocolates, cookies and fresh milk in the fridge. Thank you Geoffrey.

We loved staying in the Delderfield Suite. It is decorated to a very high standard and has a lovely patio area to enjoy the spring sunshine. The suite was well equipped, including a washing machine which we found was very useful. We would certainly recommend staying here and enjoyed Sidmouth and the surrounding area.

We have rented a number of cottages in England, and this was by far the best. Everything has been done for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The courtyard was very pleasant and creatively landscaped. The Waitrose was conviently located. We enjoyed the town of Sidmouth. It has a seafront promenade, nice cafes and tearooms, very good restaurants, and interesting shops. We can't wait to go back!

"An ideal place for a two-person break"
The Delderfield Suite is a delight. It was spotlessly clean; simply but tastefully decorated; and extremely well-equipped (even providing hand-towels, tea towels and dishwashing cloths etc). The bed is *very* comfortable, the pillows also. Plenty of hot water and a good shower (not like the dribble you get in some places) and decent sized towels. The kitchen has a small dishwasher and a washing machine/tumble drier (useful for when you've got caught in a rain storm on the walk back from town!) as well as plenty of good sharp knives and all the cutlery/crockery you need.
As well as a friendly welcome from Geoff on our arrival there was milk in the fridge, chocolate cookies and fresh flowers.
The seafront is a 20 minute walk away if you don't want to take your car down and park.
We would recommend this accommodation unreservedly.

"Home from Home ..."
We stayed for 5 nights in the Delderfield Suite and our daughter and 2 young grand-daughters stayed in the 2 bed Sampson Suite. Delightful! We could walk easily between the two (even in pouring rain) and both cottages had full facilities. Considering we went in the worst storms in our history (!!!!), the cottages were always warm and welcoming.
We walked from Bulverton House, along The Byes and into Sidmouth - it was worth getting soaked.
This is a great location for exploring and Geoffrey is an excellent host.
We would stay here again.

"Perfect place for couples to relax and unwind - home from home"
This cottage was a perfect retreat for us. We stayed for a week in July and were impressed with the standard of the cottage and the prompt and friendly service provided by the owners. We booked this late on the Wednesday night on-line planning to start the holiday the same Friday and were concerned we would not get a response in time. Geoff's response was the same night accepting the booking so we could then relax, knowing we were going on holiday!
On arrival the cottage was immaculate and clearly very recently established as a new letting. Everything had been thought of, including nice touches like milk, tea and coffee and biscuits on arrival.
We would definitely consider going back - the week, accommodation and the weather were all perfect.
