Four Seasons (apartment)

Home description

A modern apartment that has been furnished by a company of interior designers to high standards. The rooms are of good size and neutral colours run throughout. The master bedroom has its own en suite and balcony looking over the mountains. The well equipped kitchen has everything home to home as listed below. There is a family bathroom. A good sized lounge with flat screen tv, satellite-dvd player and playstation 2 with 25 games so parents can have a peaceful glass of wine alfresco. There are a choice of stunning views with balconies coming of each bedroom. The cafe is now fully serving meals and at a good price, and the poolside bar serve excellent non or alcoholic drinks all day and in the evening you can sit and chill there and chat. It is nearby restaurants bars and side where you can wander through the Roman ruins or have a romantic dinner watching the turtles. The shops have great bargains open till late.

The large swimming pool has sun loungers and parasols. The gym is well equipped and there are even tennis rackets in the apartment. You can relax or go on many trips like dolphin watching-quad biking- paragliding- jet skis- Turkish baths and massages. There are nearby championship golf courses which can be booked for the day. You have everything on the complex or 5mins to the beach or town. This is an all year round complex as it has an indoor swimming pool. You will be spoilt for choice.

The Mediterranean Coast region

Ilica is on the Antalya-Alanya road past the cotton and orange groves 7km from side. The climate is sunny and has approx 320 days of sunshine and temperatures range from 70f t0 100f in the summer months but there is always a lovely breeze and good humidity. Even in the winter months of Jan/Feb it is still warm. Ilica is in southern Turkey, on the Mediterranean coast, nearby is the town of side where the Roman ruins stand and you can just walk through them. There is still an amphitheatre there which hosts concerts, the beaches are soft sand and the picturesque harbour is lovely when sitting at the bar sipping a cocktail. There is many sights to see the Manavgat waterfall,
the Sorgun forest, the canyon national park and traditional markets.

Side / Manavgat area

The Manavgat market is famous and its nice to get a boat trip there which takes you through Manavgat river and a few hours at the market where you can buy handmade linen, leather goods and many more items.

The water sports on the beach which includes jet skis and paragliding is really cheap compared to other European countries and the water is always warm and calm. There is organised trips to safari parks and quad biking and a really good one is the white water river rafting a full day out and great fun.

If you just like to walk or bike ride there are some stunning scenery places nearby you can hire a bike in town. There are beautiful mosques that you can visit there is everything for the young through to the elderly.

How to get there

The nearest airport is Antalya it is approx 30 mins drive. The airlines that serve Antalya are British Airways- Thomas Cook- Honurair- Turkish Cyprus- and many more. The flight is approx 4hrs and Turkey is 2 hours in front.

I recommend a car hire company email address info@mietwagon-antalya.com or if you do not want to drive then I can arrange a return airport transfer for £70 up to four people.

You can get around with cheap buses and taxi journeys once at resort, and there is a free shuttles bus that runs from the complex every 2 hours which goes to the shopping areas and banks and also a free shuttle bus that takes you to the nearby beach that allows free sunbeds and parasols.

There are plenty of towels and bed linen. There is airconditioning throughout, use of a washing machine, dish washer and fully equipped kitchen, There is a lovely bar by the pool, and there is a great cafe by the apartment with stunning views. There is tennis racquets and table tennis bats in the apartment, and when you have had your workout there are plenty of dvds to watch or chill out on one of the three balconies with a glass of wine.

Further details outdoors:
Just outside the apartment you have a choice of the large swimming pool or the privacy of the small one both with sun loungers and even at high season these pools have plenty of room. The gym and tennis court is close by and has stunning views.There is a free shuttle bus that runs every hour one that takes you into town where you can walk through the stunning Roman ruins of Side and browse through the abundance of shops where you can barter for a fantastic bargain like a leather handbag, designer clothes or beautiful jewellery, then wander down to book one of many cheap day trips (dolphin watching, quad biking, mudbaths etc ) after all that hectic work stroll down to the Harbour and sit and watch the Sunset with a cocktail. The other shuttle bus takes you to the beach where they provide you with free sunbeds and parasols as all day, and fantastic water rides like jet skis and paragliding.

The deposit will be £100 this is non refundable and a separate £50 returnable breakages will be sent back after inventory checked, balance paid 6 wks before departure, all prices are negotiable as how many days and time of year.

Conditions

When booking please send a deposit by cheque and a separate £50 refundable for breakages. Or a transfer into bank.

If you are a smoker please use the balconies as the apartment is fitted with a smoke detector.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you require an airport transfer as these get booked quickly.

Guestbook for Four Seasons

My wife and I stayed for a week in July I was thrilled with the comfort of the apartment and the stunning views. It is a 5 star complex with everything you need. The use of the shuttle bus is great; we went to the supermarket to stock up and on nights we cooked or ate out the restaurants and the food is fantastic, such good value. The trips we went on were cheap we went white water river rafting cost £15 for the day incl lunch
we will definitely be booking next year. Ian and Julie

I went to this lovely apartment with my son it was the first time I had been to Turkey and I will be going every year now! I loved it, my teenage son met up with lads on the complex and tried all the nightclubs including the famous oxyd where they jump in the swimming pool. Turkey is a very safe place and I met some friends and was quite happy to sit on the balcony or go for a lovely meal. There are so many fantastic restaurants serving traditional food, fresh fish dishes or English and for two with wine is approx £16. I loved the shops you can get so many designer brands so cheap and well made jeans tops leather handbags shoes all designer names take a spare suitcase!
