Simply stunning, are the words that have been used to describe this penthouse apartment... take a look at our feedback from previous guests. This beautifully furnished spacious luxury apartment has the very best views of the large outdoor pool and striking waterfall. Located in a quiet residential area yet close to shops, bars, restaurants and beach, the Oasis Residence offers the ideal base for any holiday.

Perfect for couples, families, friends and golfers (just 25 minutes from Belek with its 6 championship golf courses) the Oasis Residence is THE place to stay. The private complex with 24 hour security is set in lush landscaped gardens with a large outdoor pool providing an inviting central focal point. A great place to lie in the sun, swim or chat with friends. Other facilities included a heated indoor pool (open Nov - March), 2 children's pools, air conditioned gym with showers, a games room with pool table and table tennis, cafe bar and children's play area equipped with toys.

There's a free shuttle bus to and from the beach, which has sun loungers, parasols, a beach bar and even Turkish massage. A whole range of watersports are also readily available including jet skis, bananas, paragliding, ringos and more. (Between May & November)

The apartment itself is furnished to the highest standards, with designer furniture and a wall mounted 37" flat screen tv. The large kitchen, dining and living areas have a contemporary feel and lead to a spacious(20 m2) balcony with sun loungers and a table with four chairs.

Conditions

Strictly no smoking, except on the balconies with care.

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to be paid at the time of booking in order to secure the apartment for your stay.

The balance is to be paid 8 weeks before your arrival date.

A security deposit of £100 will be required (at the time of balance payment) against breakages and the return of the keys at the end of the holiday. The security deposit will be refunded to you within 21 days of the end of your stay (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

Changeover dates and times are flexible as long as they don't clash with other bookings.

Rental rates include pre-arrival laundry & cleaning. Additional laundry and cleaning services are available during your stay at an extra charge.

Cancellation refunds:
++ Over 8 weeks, full balance of payment refunded
++ 4-8 weeks, 50% of payment refunded
++ 2-4 weeks, 25% of payment refunded
++ Less than 2 weeks, no refund

The Mediterranean Coast region

Located in Southern Turkey the region is commonly referred to as the Turkish Riveria - this is the place the Turks choose to go on holiday, so you know you're on to a good thing. Almost 1000 miles long, with more than its fair share of fine sand beaches, the coastline is home to ancient cities, some still survive to this day while others are ruins well worth seeing, traditional fishing villages and dramatic cliffs.

The Taurus Mountains provide a stunning backdrop and combined with the fertile land perfect for growing cotton, vegetables and tropical fruits, the region is full of surprises.

If you like hot summers and mild winters with temperatures rarely dropping below 15 degrees and plenty of things to see and do, this part of Turkey is for you.

The Side / Manavgat area

Side (pomegranite in Turkish) is a vibrant resort situated between Antalya and Alanya. Side itself dates back to Roman times and indeed it is reputed to be the place where Mark Antony proposed to Cleopatra. Its Roman heritage is still very much in evidence as you approach the main town gates you will find yourself surrounded by columns, archways, statues, mosaic floor tiles and more. Inside the impressive gates you will find Side's ancient amphitheatre, still used for concerts during the summer months and home to Side's annual music festival (September).

Once in the Old Town, the main street leading down to the picturesque harbour is lined with colourful, thriving shops selling everything from jewellery & leather (excellent value for money), to shoes & handbags (a girl can never have too many!) to local crafts, turkish delight and spices - remember to haggle.

All along the harbour and in the cobbled side streets are restaurants (serving traditional Turkish dishes) and bars (some playing live music), there's even a nightclub in the Roman ruins. Take time to walk along the harbour front until you reach the Temple of Apollo, we don't want to spoil the surprise but this is best seen at night...

It is totally up to you how much or how little you do when on holiday. If you prefer to lie by the pool or laze on a beach that's fine but if you're more active you won't be disappointed as there are many options available including boat trips, white water rafting, golf, walking, fishing, horse riding, skiing (in the winter months) and tours to Manavgat with its weekly market, Pamukkale, Cappadocia and Alanya.

Antalya is the nearest airport to Side, approximately 1 hour from the apartment. Car transfers can be arranged for £80 return (for up to 4 people). Car hire is available at the airport through Avis, Budget and Hertz, but is not essential as the apartment is close to shops, restaurants and beaches. Taxis are readily available if you wish to go further afield.

“OUR 3RD TIME RETURNING..IT MUST BE GOOD..AND IT IS!” We stayed here again for the 3rd time since 2010, and still absolutely love it! The apartment remains as perfect as the first time we stayed here, immaculately presented and very clean and fresh. Transfers were arranged by Gwynneth the owner, and couldn't have been better..we even had a mini limo from Antalya airport to the apartments! The apartment is nice and spacious, more than enough room for our family of 4., and the balcony is large, perfect for relaxing and watching the pool area below. The grounds are well kept, and I like that they have 24 hour security at the apartments..not that we saw any crime, or ever felt unsafe, its just an added bonus. Further out of the centre than other apartments, but this doesn't bother us, as we liked the walk down to Side old town, or caught the frequent dolmus which are cheap. The owner Gwynneth arranges everything wonderfully too, from satrt to finish, and is prompt with e mail replies. Perfect..I will defintely go back!

“Fantastic holiday/apartment!” Great holiday in a fantastic apartment. Gwynneth was extremely helpful, provided information on all aspects of the holiday, prompt replies to email queries etc. The apartment was a good base for Side, which was great for shops, restaurants and beaches. We also found the restaurants and bars in Kemer equally as good and only 5/10 mins walk. There is also a good pizza restaurant that delivers to the apartment. Lots of activities – horse riding, white water rafting, go-karting, banana boats etc., We also found a lovely Turkish lady at Side harbour who organised private boat trips – we went on the three hour one which was fantastic – would highly recommend. A14 apartment itself was great – clean, spacious and well cared for. The balcony is huge and we spent many an evening relaxing after a day of activities. The apartment grounds were also very well maintained, the pool was a good size and refreshingly cool in the heat. A small snack bar provides bacon butties, toasties and cold drinks etc. Would highly recommend!

“Apartment surpassed all our expectations” Apartment was fully equipped with all that you could wish for. Security were most helpful and carried our luggage up to the apartment . With the apartment being a penthouse there are a number of stairs which would make it unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems. After a couple of days we discovered that security could provide drinking water and deliver it to your door, this was a great help. Swimming pool was never overcrowded and sun beds always available , the cafe bar at the swimming pool offered freshly prepared snacks which were of an excellent standard and run by a lovely English lady who stays on site. Local shops 5 mins away can provide basic essentials . There is a Migros store 5 minutes in a taxi which has a better selection however if the taxi driver tells you he will wait be aware that his meter will be running when you are in store . We found the Corner Bar to be a great place to eat with friendly staff and only 10 minutes away . Coneys is also great and has a set menu on a Thursday and karaoke certain nights book early this is a popular restaurant , they will also collect and return you to apartment. Side offers a large choice of restaurants but are considerably more expensive than ones local to apartment . There are lots of shops in Side but be prepared to haggle. Prices are mostly in Euros , will also accept Turkish Lira unlike other parts of Turkey we have visited Sterling is not the preferred currency. The free bus to private beach was good with free sun beds and parasols , the beach is soft sand and restaurant there offers a good selection of food and drink at reasonable price . Had a great holiday and would recommend without hesitation

“Lovely relaxing break!” We stayed at the Oasis apartment - A14 in early June and had a lovely time. We were met by a private driver at the arrivals exit and were transported to Side in an air conditioned minibus. The driver even stopped to buy us all a bottle of water en-route which was a nice touch! The complex is lovely and well maintained. The apartment is like a home from home with everything you would expect in a property of this type. We spent a lot of time by the pool relaxing with our four year old who was more than happy with the kiddies pools! We also spent a lot of time at Side harbour which has some great shopping and also lots of nice restaurants. "The end" is a good one to watch the sun go down in the evening - I recommend the seabass! All in all, a lovely break in a lovely apartment. Gwynneth provided us with lots of information prior to our departure and was very helpful. We will be staying again!

“Fabulous apartment and complex equiped to a high standard but let down by the location” Great well appointed apartment & complex ideal for both families and couples. Fabulous weather in October and not too far from the airport but we were slightly disappointed by the location of this apartment as it is away from the town in an area where there is little else other than construction sites. Perhaps this will pass as soon as all of the apartment complexes have been completed. There were relatively few restaurants within walking distance but Site itself is lovely with lots of ancient sites, great restaurants and lovely beaches. Beachfront restaurants allow you to watch turtles swimming nearby. Sadly we found the local population very inclined to rip you off. Never before found such a need to confirm the price before you commit to any purchase.

“Fantastic luxury apartment !” Gwynneth was extremely helpful from the start & lots of information given about the area. The apartment was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and with a huge balcony complete with plenty of quality furniture both inside the property & for sunbathing on the balcony. The pool was kept very clean and there were always sun-loungers available. We ate out most nights, but when we did eat in we bought food from the local shops and found the kitchen to be well equipped....my husband is a chef and hence quite fussy ! The washing machine meant we really could have got away with taking only half the clothes in suitcases and the air-conditioning meant we slept very well at night even though we visited in August when it was very hot. Side is lovely to meander around in the evening....trying out the different restaurants...and the sea is crystal clear ! Also plenty of banks with cash points.... just make sure you choose the best debit/credit card deals before you leave for Turkey so that you get the best rates of exchange & commission free. You do have to learn to say "no, I'm not interested" when market traders try to sell you goods, but the atmosphere is wonderful on the sea front. Apart from the market traders the Turkish people are amazingly friendly. If you haven't been to Turkey we would highly recommend it.
