Home description

The apartment and complex are ideal for golfing groups, couples and families with young children.

The apartment is in a quiet area of the complex, but with easy access to all the facilities. It is built and equipped to a very high standard, and sleeps up to 6 adults or children plus a baby in a travel cot (provided). We can also provide a highchair and a group 0+ Britax car seat. The bedrooms have plentiful storage space for 6 people and the kitchen has more than enough cooking utensils and crockery. The 20 sq m terrace looks out onto open land and has a gate opening onto a secluded grassed area of the complex. The terrace is equipped with table and chairs and sun loungers.

The complex is magnificent, with a large pool surrounded by sun loungers and a separate children’s pool. There’s also an indoor pool - ideal for the cooler winter months and also to cool down out of the sun in high summer. The floodlit tennis court and indoor air-conditioned gym are useful to fitter guests while the café /bar, pool table and children’s indoor play area are popular with others.

There is also free wifi.

There are many shops and restaurants within a few minutes’ walk of the apartment and Side old town, with its archaeological ruins and amphitheatre, is easy to walk to as is the beach. The neighbourhood is clean, quiet and friendly.

Belek's 6 championship golf courses are less than 30 minutes drive away and there is also some wonderful scenery a short drive away.

The coast around Side has long sandy beaches, crystal blue seas and picturesque harbours. The beach has been awarded the prestigious blue flag by the EU and the several mile long stretch is renowned for its clear water. Moving further along the coast in both directions you’ll also find areas where the cliffs tumble into the sea, many pretty villages and the archaeological remains of classical cities. Behind the coast are areas of lush vegetation and also the Taurus mountains where in the winter months you can reach ski slopes within an hour and a half.

You can book many excursions leaving from Side including white water rafting, horse riding, scuba diving, boat trips, fishing, and jeep safaris. If you hire a car it’s easy and safe to drive and explore on your own. You can also play golf at one of the 6 championship golf courses only 30 minutes drive away (tee times bookable from the UK).

Side area

Side (pronounced See-day) dates back to the Roman Empire when it was a very important trading port, and a trysting place of Anthony and Cleopatra. The archaeological remains are much in evidence, and very accessible. Side's beautiful well preserved amphitheatre is still used for concerts during the summer months, with a music festival taking place during the month of September.

There’s easy access to two long sandy beaches where you can enjoy the many water-based activities from pedaloes to parasailing, lounge on the beach or sit in a beachside café and watch the world go by.

Holidaying in Side is easy and comfortable. The people are friendly and hospitable and almost everyone speaks enough English. There are pavement cafes and chic restaurants; colourful markets selling exotic wares and spices and convenience stores for day to day necessities. Here is all the mystery of the East with the reliability and familiarity of Europe.

How to get there

BA have direct scheduled flights from Gatwick which for some dates are at similar prices to the charter airlines.

Thomas Cook have direct flights from many UK airports.

Turkish Airlines (www.thy.com) have frequent scheduled flights with a transfer at Istanbul.

Pegasus Airlines also have flights with a transfer at Istanbul, but usually take only an hour longer than direct flights, and are often very much cheaper than other airlines.

The direct flight is around 4 hours from the UK and transfer to the apartment is about 45 minutes. We can arrange the transfers for you for about £70 return for up to 4 people, plus a little more for additional people, and can arrange child car seat or booster seat if required.

After years of renting holiday places with limited storage facilities, not quite enough kitchen ware, and so on, we've equipped our apartment to the level of comfort we prefer.

The living area has two large comfortable sofas, both of which convert into beds. It also has a DVD/CD player and a TV which receives UK, German and French satellite channels.

The dining area has a large table and 6 chairs.

The kitchen is extremely well equipped, so you can cook for yourselves with ease if you don’t feel like eating out all the time.

The two bedrooms have twin beds, that you can put together to form a king if you prefer. Both bedrooms have wardrobes, drawer units, bedside tables and lamps, large mirrors and so on.

The bedding and towels are all of good quality and in colours in keeping with the decor of the apartment.

Both the en-suite bathroom and the main bathroom have washbasin, shower and wc; and the main bathroom has a large corner Jacuzzi bath too!

Both bedrooms and the living room are heated and air-conditioned.

Further details outdoors:
The complex is beautifully landscaped with an unusual amount of open space and mature trees, flower beds, lawns, fountains and statues.

You can sunbathe around the pools, on the roof terraces or on the apartment's private terraces - or go to the beach of course.

The outdoor and indoor swimming pools are large enough to swim in, as well as lounge around it. Use of the loungers and parasols is complimentary.

There's a wide range of activities in the complex including: floodlit tennis court, well-equipped gym, pool table, table tennis, indoor play area for small children and a cafe/bar - there's also free wifi internet access.

You can book excursions with pick-up from the complex: including Aquapark, boat trips, jeep safari, archaelogical ruins, city centre shopping trips and so on.

There are secure golf lockers near the entrance to the complex to save you carrying your clubs to the apartment.
