Sunshine Villa is located in Evrenseki, just ten minutes walk from the beach, on the outskirts of the towns of Side and Manavgat . Quiet and peaceful, yet only fifteen minutes drive from the larger resorts such as Side, the villa has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting and many excellent restaurants for eating out. Side is often referred to as one of the oldest towns in Turkey

The villa benefits from its own private pool. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with Mountain views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With three double and one twin bedrooms, the villa is ideal for families with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Mediterranean Coast region

Side (pronounced "see day") is located on the Mediterranean Turkish Riviera. Side is a popular seaside resort and former fishing port steeped in rich ancient history and its real charm and character is possibly what attracted Mark Anthony and Cleopatra to frequently visit. Numerous shops mix with lively restaurants, vibrant bars and nightclubs. The entire peninsular is surrounded by the wonderful deep blue water of the Mediterranean Sea. Side really does give you a fascinating glimpse back to Roman times. The 5th century baths should not be missed and contain a very interesting museum. There are a number of other ancient sights to wander around. See the theatre, which once held 17,000 people and the temples with their magnificent towering columns.

Then there are the Manavgat & Durdon waterfalls, the protected Sorgun forest, cruise the lake in the mountains, white water rafting and canoeing, historical tours and all types of water sports.

Twenty minutes toward Antalya is Belek, where golfers can leisure in a choice of more than ten golf courses there are even golf courses designed by Nick Faldo and Colin Montgomerie.

Further east along the Mediterranean coast is Alanya. It lies at the end of a rocky promontory, jutting out into the Mediterranean Sea. Crowning the headland is the Ic Kalesi fortress, surrounded by six kilometres of walls - it's a marvellous place to watch the sun set. Golden beaches flank the city, to the east and west, and the Taurus Mountains make a stunning backdrop.

The climate scores high for reliability. On this southern coast, blue skies and warm weather are virtual certainties with the overall best temperatures from April to October.

Side / Everenski area

Ideal base for golfers to play on the magnificent Lykia links golf course, new from September 2008.

Rather like Turkey itself, which stands at the point where two continents merge, this charming resort of Side is at the meeting point of the ancient world and the modern world.

Nearby is Aspendos which is famous for its impressive Roman amphitheatre, the best preserved in Asia Minor. Next to the theatre, a path leads up to the acropolis with a nymphaeum and basilica.

How to get there

Fly to Antalya - Evrenski is just 76 km from the airport (45 minutes).
Flights available for example from www.thomascook.com or www.lastminute.com from most UK airports.
We can arrange transport between the airport and the town (approximately 65 GBP or 72 Euro for upto 4 people) and we can also arrange car hire for you locally.
There are always local taxis available at the airport - fares should be no more than 80 GBP or 89 euros.

When you enter the property you cannot fail to be impressed by its spaciousness. The rooms are light and spacious and all of the bedrooms offer views of the mountains. The three bathrooms and kitchen are well equipped with superior quality fixtures and fittings as is the tiling, lighting and decoration throughout.

Finishings include marble floors, air-conditioning (which double as heaters) in every room, a fully fitted kitchen including a refrigerator & freezer, oven, microwave, heated water boiler (in main bathroom), washing machine, dishwasher and exterior sun/security shutters.

Additional facilities include:

Microwave, toaster, kettle, iron & ironing board, IPOD facility with CD player, gas barbecue, four sun loungers/cushions & umbrella and two patio tables and six chairs. Everything you need for self catering is provided.

The development has landscaped gardens and a large 160 sq m communal swimming pool with Jacuzzi and children's pool. Development also has 24 hour security and CCTV system.

A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to be paid at the time of booking in order to secure the Villa for your stay. The balance is to be paid 56 days before your arrival date.

A security deposit of £250 will be required (at the time of the balance payment) against breakages and the return of the keys at the end of the holiday. The security deposit will be refunded to you within 14 days of the end of your stay (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

You can arrive at your accommodation after [16:00] hours on the Arrival Date of your holiday and you must leave by [12:00] hours on the Departure Date.

Changeover dates and times are flexible as long as they don't clash with other bookings.

Guests will have to pay an administration fee to cover any bank charges incurred for a foreign payment transfer.

We send you booking confirmation and receipt as proof of your payment, so you feel reassured.

Additional laundry and cleaning services are available at an extra charge.

Cancellation Refunds:
56+ days until arrival: Full balance payment minus 30% deposit, which is non-refundable
29-56 days until arrival: 50 per cent of balance payment refunded
15-28 days until arrival: 25 per cent of balance payment refunded
1-14 days until arrival: 10 per cent of balance payment refunded
Day of Arrival: No refund

The Security deposit of £250 paid will be fully refunded (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

30% at time of booking (non-refundable), and balance of rental fee payable 56+ days before arrival to secure booking. Bookings made less than 56+ days before departure require full payment on booking.

In addition, a £250 security bond will be paid with the rental fee, refundable on satisfactory handover of the villa to our on-site representative(s) at the end of the holiday.

Although, linen and towels are provided, please provide your own towels for the pool and beach.

Rental rates include after-departure cleaning of the house.

Additional cleaning services are available at extra charge.

We can arrange your airport transfer or car hire for you as well. Please enquire if interested.

Please note that the villa is strictly non smoking.

Pets are not allowed in the villa.

The weather was fantastic and the villa definitely was modern, clean and well equipped-fantastic. The Aspendos Theatre and Manavgat waterfalls are well worth a visit. Marion & Roger Holland (May 2008).
