About the home

Lily Homes is set in a complex of 14 private luxury holiday homes. The accommodation is furnished throughout and includes a fully equipped kitchen with hob and fan assisted oven, TV/DVD, HIFI. There is air conditioning in both bedrooms and the living area and balconies to the main bedroom and lounge. There are 4 chairs and a table on the main balcony for alfresco dining. Lovely communal pool with sun loungers and parasols provided for the use of apartment guests.

Shrouded within beautifully landscaped and well manicured gardens of palm trees, roses, lime and breadfruit trees along with various flowers and vegetables (which guests may pick and eat). This is a very tasteful second floor accommodation.

Beach bus (free) and taxis are always available next door to the complex just outside the Lemas Hotel. There are 2 small shops (1min walk) selling all self catering provisions.

A £100 per week deposit (refundable up to 8 weeks prior to departure) is payable on booking. Full payment to be paid 4 weeks prior to departure along with a £100 refundable breakages deposit. Please note no teenagers unless accompanied by adults.

The Mediterranean Coast region

The Turkish Mediterranean is the coastline (stretching from Kemer to Gazipasa) along the Antalya region to the southern end of Turkey. As the pine covered Taurus Mountains sweep down to the Mediterranean sea, the landscape forms an irregular coastline of, little bays secluded coves, rocky headlands and long sandy beaches.
With its 300 days a year sunshine, outstanding natural beauty, the region has become a paradise for sunbathing, swimming, windsurfing, water skiing, sailing, mountain climbing horse riding and golf. Visiting the

Antalya region in March or April, gives you the opportunity to ski in the morning and sunbathe on the beach in the afternoon. Combine all of this with its’ rich culture, history and ancient ruins, its easy to see why the Turkish Riviera has become the tourism capital of Turkey and one of the hottest property markets in Europe.

The Side / Yali Mah area

Side has everything you could want. For the culture vulture there is a treasure chest of ancient history all around which includes: The Roman Temples of Apollo and Artemis, The Amphitheatre dating back to Hellenistic period (one of the largest in Turkey after Aspendos), Aqua ducts, The City Gates, and Museum. One of the most enjoyable experiences is walking through these ruins at night when they are all illuminated. Due to its abundance of archaeological treasures, the architecture in the old part of Side is of a certain style, two storey stone buildings with wooden balconies along a labyrinth of narrow alleyways.

For the sun worshippers there are the long stretches of unspoilt beaches either side of the harbour, with varied restaurants and bars serving quality food and beverages at excellent prices close to hand. If you’re of a more sporty disposition then you have a myriad of activities to choose between including, scuba diving, water skiing, wind surfing, horse riding, golf, mountain climbing or biking and tennis. Whatever your requirements are for a perfect holiday on The Turkish Riviera a visit to the local 'hammam' (Turkish bath) is highly recommended.

The nearest airport to Side is Antalya which is served by all the main UK airports and is approx 45 mins drive away. Transfers to and from the apartments can be arranged for an additional cost of £50. Car hire is available at the airport and in various locations in Side, both cheap and plentiful. Car hire is not essential as all amenities are within walking distance though to explore the areas many sights is recommended.

“Comfortable friendly retreat” My daughter and I have just spent an enjoyable week in Side staying at this lovely apartment. Having only booked the apartment a week or so before we traveled, we were so pleased at how smooth the journey to the apartment was and how spacious and clean it was. Nicola had arranged for Vebhi to collect us at the airport, and he was there waiting - even at 2.30 in the morning! The apartment has everything you could want for a relaxing stay, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and clean, and everything you need in a kitchen area (apart from a microwave) to rustle up breakfast or a meal if you want to. The grounds and pool of the apartment are immaculately kept by a sweet little gentleman who is very polite and maintains them beautifully. For us the apartment was ideally located, it is quiet - away from any main roads, but within easy reach of supermarkets, transport to Side Centre (although it is a lovely 25 minute walk along the promenade). It takes 7-10 minutes to walk to the beach where there are plenty of places to stay for the day with sunbeds, good places to eat and plenty of water-sports. The 'My Way' bar is a good night out. Thank you Nicola and we will definitely be staying again sometime next year.

“Great apartment” We (my husband, my brother and myself) have just returned from our holiday at this apartment in Side. The apartment is lovely, it was clean, modern and has everything you would need for your self-catering holiday. It is situated near shops/restaurants. I would definitely recommend a restaurant called The Cihan which is a short walk away, the food is excellent, the staff are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. It even does take-away/delivery. The swimming pool is lovely and clean and there are plenty of sunbeds. The beach is about a 15 minute walk away but there is a free bus from the hotel next door if you need it. Transfers are available from the airport if required but we hired a car so didn't use this facility. There are people who live on the complex all the time and they are very friendly and will help you if you have any problems during your stay. Side is a beautiful place and we will be returning again without doubt.

“all you could ask for !” myself and wife stayed at Nicola's apartment for 2 lovely weeks in September - a spacious 2 bed apartment with everything you needed - the pool area and gardens were immaculate and kept spotlessly clean - the little man who tends the area has a right to be proud. there is a little supermarket literally 3 mins away - with larger choice of shops just down the road - we ate at the Che Yan restaurant again just 5 mins away wonderful food and really lovely people- if you did want more "night life" there are many bars etc on the main strip up by the hospital but we just loved the quiet. by the shops you can book trips -Mehmet does a good rate - we did a boat trip - fab!! we got the free bus from nearby hotel which takes you to a very nice part of the beach near a beach bar -the sea is soooo warm. we had a fab time and wil defiately be going back- only moan -take some DVD's though as TV doesnt have english channels thankyou nicola . see you next year

“Excellent apartment near Side” We had a lovely holiday, staying at the apartment Lily Homes. The apartment is very spacious and has two balcony with table and 4 chairs. The complex is well maintained with lovely gardens (with fruit trees, you can also taste some ;) and a nice pool. Swimming pool was never overcrowded and sun beds always available. We stayed at this apartment for 10 days in August and we really loved it. It is a large apartment, very clean and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Side has a long stretch of sandy beach and the sea in August was lovely and warm. There were relatively few restaurants within walking distance but Side itself is lovely with lots of ancient sites, great restaurants and lovely beaches. Beachfront restaurants allow you to watch turtles swimming nearby. Local shops 5 mins away can provide basic essentials. All in all, this was a wonderful holiday in a great appartment. I think we will definitely return to there again in the future. :) Thanks for everything! Nicole & Vahit

“Great apartment, location and pool area” Myself and some friends stayed at this apartment for two weeks and we loved it. Great value for money, clean and all the amenities that you need. We have been to Side before and would definitely stay here again. There was always room around the pool to sunbath if you wanted too (cleaned regularly and a good size) and it isn't far from some lovely restuarants (they even have wifi if you ask - for those who can't live without accessing the net). The owner Nicola is very helpful and organised transfers for us with Vebhi in Turkey. Mehmet is very reasonable for trips near the big supermarket and theres lots to do or you can do nothing and still enjoy Side. I would highly recommend a visit to this apartment to enjoy what Turkey has to offer :)
