Situated on a highly desirable complex consisting of just 24 apartments, set in spacious beautifully landscaped gardens with a large swimming pool, lovely flowing waterfall, jacuzzi, gym and sauna.
The complex has a peaceful location but with restaurants, bars and shops close by. However a short 15 minute stroll will have you in the ancient Roman centre of Side with its magnificent temples, amphitheatres and beautiful harbour. Along with vibrant shops, romantic restaurants and atmospheric bars, giving a wonderfully exotic atmosphere. As you enter Side, you will be filled with a sense of being in a very special place.

The Mediterranean Coast region
Side is situated on the southern coast of Turkey approximately 45 minutes drive from Antalya airport. Located on a peninsula with sandy beaches on either side it is famous for its magnificent Roman ruins capped by a fabulous amphitheatre, which still holds concerts in the summer. With over 300 days sunshine per year, The Turquoise Coast is the first place you should think of when you're considering a seaside vacation in Turkey. The beach has been awarded the prestigious blue flag by the EU and the several mile long stretch is renowned for its clear water.

Side area
Side is a unique place first it is a modern seaside resort with all the things you might expect in a tourist place, lots of bars, restaurants, discos, shops, markets and two sandy beaches either side of the harbor.
The ruins of the ancient city mingle with the new, and despite its development as a resort, it retains its own very special atmosphere and charm. Its impressive second century theatre, supported by arched vaults, offers fine views towards the sea and you can still see the remains of an ancient street lined with pillars and arcades and the market place where slaves were once sold.
The old town of Side is a joy with the ancient roman ruins mixed in between bars, restaurants and shops. The main area of the town is pedestrianised and it's wonderful colourful streets leading down to the sea offer bargains galore. There are shops selling Turkish delight, designer jeans (both fake and real but all at lower prices than at home), handcrafted embroidery, lace tablecloths and serviettes, carpets, leather goods and a wonderful selection of gold and silver jewellery. The Saturday market is also worth a visit for clothes, lace, fresh fruit and vegetables.
There is no shortage of places to go after sundown and many bars stay open until late. The atmosphere and good music of Stones near the temple of Apollo makes it popular with the British, while the Temple next door is frequented by Turkish and British alike. The resort's two nightclubs are Lighthouse, by the harbor, and Oxyd a large open air venue on the edge of town which features a laser show and swimming pool.
Side has a lot to offer other than just sunbathing and shopping. On the beach there is jet skiing, paragliding, banana boats. For the more adventurous why not try a jeep safari, white water rafting, horse riding, scuba diving, or the aqua park. There are sight seeing tours to Antalya, Alanya, boat trips and markets, all can be booked easily and cheaply in the resort.
The resort of Belek, which includes several international golf courses, two of which are designed by David Feherty and Nick Faldo, is only 30 minutes drive away.Please see links below to view two of the courses available.
The nearest airport to Side is Antalya which is served by all the main UK airports and is approx 45 mins drive away. Transfers to and from the apartments can be arranged for an additional cost of £65.Car hire is available at the airport and in various locations in Side, both cheap and plentiful.
We have found that the Turkish Airline Onur tends to be the cheapest option for flights and these can be booked via Goldtrail Holidays (www.goldtrail.co.uk)

Further details indoors: Air conditioning throughout. A large open plan kitchen, dining and living area, which leads onto the large lower balcony. Fully fitted kitchen equipped with fridge freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and tea towels are also provided. Master bedroom, which is extremely spacious and has a beautiful en suite bathroom including Jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Also having a large wardrobe, bedside cabinets, dressing table and mirror along with access to the large higher balcony. Two further large bathrooms, both with large shower cubicles with the upstairs bathroom also housing a washing machine. Two additional bedrooms with twin beds, wardrobes, bedside cabinet with access to the balconies. A babies cot can be rented at an additional cost if required. Large entrance hall.

Further details outdoors: This penthouse duplex apartment is one of only two on the complex, which are situated on the top two floors having the benefit of two extremely large balconies with a great view overlooking the pool area, these are ideal for al fresco dining or taking in the sun. It is perfect for either families or couples. Our apartment is looked after by an English couple who live on the complex, they not only keep the apartment in tip top condition, provide the airport transfers, but are also there to help you with anything you may need while staying e.g. car hire, advice and booking of trips, restaurant reservations etc.
The sandy beach of Side is a short 10 minute walk away, however the great news is that a free shuttle bus service is provided by the local beach bar owner. In the heat of the day, this service is invaluable. His contact details can be found in the information booklet supplied in the apartment.

Great time had by all, apartment was fantastic with plenty of space, although father in law didn’t end up traveling with us, and we rattled around a bit, a week just wasn’t long enough. Having been used to Spain for the last 7 – 8 years not used to the locals being so friendly and they couldn’t do enough for you. The pictures don't do the Apartment justice, it was amazingly spacious and Aston loved the big bath so much it was tantrums at bedtime every night we came to take him out! We had a great time there and think the complex must have the nicest security going, it was a shame having to say goodbye to them at the end. Sean and i would definitely return again next year after baby number 2 makes an appearance in November.. that's if you dont get swamped with bookings again. Thanks for the holiday let, we miss it already!

We had a brilliant holiday.Your apartment is beautiful ! very spacious and very well equipped.(I love aircon !!) the pool was fantastic, so quiet and relaxing (no having to get up early to get a sunbed) bliss, we didn't want to leave. Everyone we met at palm garden were so nice and helpful. We would love to come again, maybe when its slightly cooler.Our sons ranging from 3 to 15 all loved it.We have already been recommending you!!

We've just got back from Side having had a lovely week. We really liked the town. The apartment was every bit as comfortable as we had hoped and the complex was lovely. It was ideally situated for the beach and town and the selection of supermarkets and restaurants right on the doorstep was an added bonus. Jim and Jen were lovely and having Jim take us to and from the airport made things so much easier. We will definitely go back again as there were so many things we never got round to this time. The apartment would definitely be our first choice of where to stay so I am sure you will hear from us again.
