It is fitted out to a very high standard and has a 4 star rating by Visit Britain. It is a perfect location for a holiday or short break.
SUPPLIES: On your arrival you will find basic starter supplies, including toilet paper.
LINEN: The cost of linen is included in the rental price of your cottage. This will include bed linen and one towel per person, plus hand towels and tea towels. Additional towels are available from the caretaker for a nominal charge.
UNDERFLOOR HEATING: The ground floor is heated with underfloor heating. It is controlled by an external thermostat and pre-set to give optimum performance. It should not need adjusting during your stay. It is supplemented by gas central heating on the first floor.

Shrewsbury is one of Englands finest medieval towns. It is almost an island surrounded by the River Seven. There are over 660 listed buildings many linked by ancient passageways.
The Shrewsbury / Central Shrewsbury area
SHREWSBURY FLOWER SHOW: The Shrewsbury flower show is a huge attraction and very famous. It takes place in mid August every year in the Quarry park.
SHREWSBURY SWIMMING & LEISURE CENTRE: This is within a few minutes walk from the Stables.
SHOPPING: Specialist shopping, antiques, brick abrack, etc.
SHREWSBURY COUNTRY MARKET: The country market takes place in the Market Hall on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturday. Arrive early for the best fresh fish, herbs, bread, cakes and flowers.

We had a marvellous stay at the granary. There was fresh bread and eggs, including a goose egg, to greet us. The beds were very comfortable, with top quality linen. The cottage has been thoughtfully converted and has everything you need for a peaceful visit. |
