The Gallery Apartment is a first floor apartment in the east wing of the magnificent Loton Park mansion house, which stands in a 3000 acre estate near to the Shropshire market town of Shrewsbury. The cottage contains two double bedrooms and one twin which with the addition of a family shower room makes it suitable for six people. The cottage also contains a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a dining table. Outside the accommodation is a private lawned area with a fountain and garden furniture as well as off road parking for three cars. Loton Park is the ancestral home of the Leighton family, and was mentioned in the Domesday Book. The Grade II listed mansion is surrounded by gardens and views over rolling farmland, and is home to a renowned deer park and the annual British Hill Climb Championship. Shrewsbury has been called England's finest Tudor town, with its timber framed, black and white buildings, as well as the ancient 'shuts' or passageways which connect them.
