Further details outdoors:
The stylish south facing garden is the ideal spot for soaking up the sun, taking a leisurely swim and relaxing, whilst listening to the lapping waves of the sea. The house occupies the largest beachfront garden on this prestigious road and has sea views as far as Worthing pier to the west and Beachy Head to the east.
The large swimming pool is the dominant feature of this garden and is a few feet from the beach with sea views. The pool is heated by a powerful new boiler which ensures that the water is lovely and warm for swimming all year round. It is 10m x 5.5m, has a curved, roman style end with steps and is flanked on one side by a long white benched seating area. The pool is surrounded by paving, and there is a vast patio area in front of the house, ideal for sunbathing and for the use of the masonry charcoal/log fired BBQ. There is also a large manicured lawn area surrounded by architectural planting including palm trees and New Zealand flax. There is seating and sun loungers for guests and in high summer, you may be forgiven for imagining that you are in the Mediterranean as you sip a cold drink and enjoy views of the pool and the glittering sea just beyond. In the evenings, the garden is transformed as the pool lights up and the patio becomes the ideal area for cocktails whilst watching the stunning sunsets. In the centre of the garden, at the end of the pool, the decorative metal gates open directly onto the beach allowing you to effortlessly combine pool and seaside lifestyles in one.
There is a side gate leading to the front garden where there is parking for up to 6 cars on the paved driveway. This garden has been architecturally designed to create an impressive frontage and entrance, with steps up to the house, two oval shaped lawns and some showpiece specimen plants, including a massive New Zealand flax and a beautiful, gnarled olive tree which is over a century old.

Enquire nowThe South East England / Sussex region
South East England combines the highest average daytime temperatures found in the British Isles with the highest sunshine averages on the British mainland.
Shoreham-by-Sea sits in a spectacular position on the Sussex Coast, at the mouth of the River Adur and with the beautiful South Downs as a backdrop. It is a pretty little harbour town with an interesting array of boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops, many of which overlook the river.
The Shoreham-by-Sea / Shoreham Beach area
Sometimes called the 'Beach that Tourists forgot', Shoreham Beach is a haven of tranquillity in the long, summer months enjoyed by the town. When low tide beckons there's plenty of sand for even the most ardent 'sand castle builder' and with over 3.7km of 'pebbly' shoreline at high tide, the beach is superb for walks, exploring, sitting relaxing and taking in the sea air as well as swimming and watersports.
The house stands on the foreshore of the beach, in a quiet, prestigious road which is now locally acclaimed as the next Sandbanks. The beach is also a nature reserve, with over 70 varieties of plants some of which can only be found growing naturally in 3 other locations in the world. In the spring and summer parts of the beach are transformed as many of these plants flower to provide a unique landscape rarely seen on beaches in this country.
10 Things to Do:
Relax & enjoy the peaceful Shoreham Beach suroundings, walking along the beach, sunbathing, swimming or cycling

Thank you to Caroline and Ashley for allowing us to share your unique and magical home. It really is a small slice of heaven. We had everything we needed to celebrate a surprise 50th birthday. We made our choice due to the proximity of the beach and it was just perfect. Even though we had a chilly breeze, the warm pool was well used by all! A really beautiful home in a stunning situation. The house was excellently equipped and we lacked nothing. There was a generous welcome hamper which was like a treasure trove! The beds were extremely comfortable with the softest pillows and sheets. Thank you to Caroline and Ashley for their very warm welcome and the delicious birthday cake in the fridge! Caroline's recommendation of a personal chef to cater for the special birthday evening was excellent. We would also highly recommend Carlo. We have been left with wonderful memories we shall treasure for a long time. A truly memorable holiday. |

My wife and I traveled to Shoreham with our 4 kids for my niece's wedding. The WOW beach house was the perfect place for us to stay. It was right on Shoreham Beach, which my kids all enjoyed exploring even though it was January. The house had plenty of room and was well equipped for entertaining. We had my brother's family over for dinner one evening and there was everything we needed for our combined group of 11 people. The owners were really nice and made us feel very welcome when we arrived. Everything in the house worked well and was easy to use. The only regret that we had was that we could not swim in the beautiful swimming pool as it was January and too cold. We hope to return at some future date when it is better weather for swimming. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. This is the third beach-front house that we have rented on Shoreham Beach and by far the nicest. it was more expensive than the others but absolutely worth it. |

A Fabulous house in the perfect location. We were blown away by this beautiful, stylish, art deco house. It had everything we needed for a very special 60th birthday celebration holiday. We loved being able to go straight out of the garden onto the lovely stretch of beach, swimming in the pool every day and the wonderful sea views .A great base for exploring the surrounding area and Brighton only 6 miles away. A special thank you to Caroline and Ashley for their warm welcome, the lovely welcome hamper and birthday cake! We would love to return. |
