Great central location for the beach, footbridge, town, playgrounds, shops, pubs, restaurants and all facilities on Shoreham Beach. 2 minutes walk to both sea and footbridge for full access to Shoreham Town and its day and night life plus train station. Three double bedrooms with plenty of storage. 2 sun trap grassed balconies off of 2 bedrooms. Lounge balcony with seating for beautiful, sun and sea views whilst enjoying a sunset bottle of wine. Wifi available. Large TV with free-view in all rooms. DVD & Videos with lots of Disney films to watch.

Integrated dish washer and washing machine. A large fridge freezer. The apartment is located in a lovely setting. 1st floor with lift access for those that need it or wide carpeted stairs. Intercom entry system.

Situated between Brighton and Worthing with their vast facilities and easy access via train or bus. Both being just a 10-15 minutes drive from apartment, but to avoid parking fees at both busy towns train travel into the centres is advisable as parking at Shoreham footbridge is reasonable and side streets free.

Shoreham train station is in the centre of the town, easy walk from the apartment.

Membership to the Harbour Club with its own sandy beach, lovely river view, reasonable drink and food, entertainment (see their website) for children and adults. Pool and snooker table for all to use. Great Sunday dinners. 10 minute walk from apartment.

Shoreham by sea is an area of outstanding natural beauty dating back to the 10th century & 10 mins from Brighton. Walking distance to shops, plenty of high quality and reasonable restaurants and The Waterside pub with its great and very reasonable food.

Sussex is littered with magnificent buildings, gardens, pubs. and restaurants. Shoreham Town can be accessed by foot over the footbridge.

Adur activity centre for children and adults. Two great playgrounds for youngsters few minutes walk away.

Historic sites in Shoreham Town and Lancing College is well worth a visit. Its Cathedral is breathtaking and free before 4pm daily. Plentiful Bars, restaurants and village shops.

Market stalls bi-weekly in Shoreham town on Sundays.

Linen and parking included. Lots of added extras. Everything you will need is available to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable - please enquire. £150 deposit will secure your booking which is a £100 refundable deposit & £50 booking fee.

Pets considered and the beaches, many pubs and many local facilities allow dogs all year round.

Bank holidays and school holidays may carry a supplement

Paying directly into the bank, online or in HSBC branch, or via paypal are usually instant. Payments can be made via cheque to Mrs K Matthews and posted to 4 Wickham Avenue, Cheam, SM3 8DT. Overseas banks/PayPal may charge a fee payable by the booker.

In the event of cancellation it is always wise to have travel insurance in place to cover any trips abroad or in the UK. Holiday payments are refundable if we are able to secure another booking for your dates, but the deposit and booking fee is not.

The West Sussex region

Shoreham by sea is now a bustling town nestled between the south Downs and the sea. Popular due to its proximity to Brighton and easy access to London. Lovely fish eateries and many bars. Shoreham Beach is perfect for relaxing, kitesurf watching. Lovely walks. Unusual house boat spotting. Beautiful part of Sussex.

The river Adur separates the beach from the town keeping it quite a secret from the masses. The beach is 2miles by 500yards.

Sussex has to many magnificent places to mention you will have to come back time and time again. So many seaside towns are close by to Shoreham. All make perfect day trips from this central point.


For Adults. Romantic Resturants and Bars all within walking distance so no driving required. Brighton just £2-£3 by train. Entertainment/bands most weekends in many venues in Shoreham and all with free entry. Website details will be on the enquiry email to you for you to plan your break.

For Children. 2 playgrounds within few minutes walk. Harbour Club 15 minutes walk, welcome children and pets. Children & Adult Entertainment most weekends. Website details will be on the enquiry email to you to help you to plan your break. Adur Activitiy centre. Walking distance away for indoor mountain climbing and lots of other family activities.

For Pets. Many local pubs/resturants allow entry with Dogs. Beach is dog friendly (always pick up after your pets please)

The beach just 400yds away. For nature enthusiasts there is a nature reserve along the river Adur or for walkers there is the Downs now listed as a national park, or as a base to visit local tourist attractions such as Arundal castle, Lancing College and its Catherdral and the Royal Palace in Brighton. Real treats.

Churches dating back to the 10th century local museums river walks, the beach, nice pubs and lovely restaurant and many more. Please see web sites and guest information pack on arrival for full details.

*Footbridge is being redeveloped during 2013. If the footbridge is out of action during your stay there is a free 7 days a week regular shuttle service at the foot of the footbridge running every 15 minutes.

For directions - Exit the M25 at junction 7 go onto the M23 towards Brighton and Gatwick. Continue on the A23. Approx 3 miles out of Brighton go on the A 27 To Worthing continue 7-8miles go through Southwick Hill tunnel. Exit A27 on to the A 283 towards Shoreham.

At the roundabout first left under the flyover.At a mini roundabout 2nd exit towards Shoreham.At next roundabout go right over bridge onto the A 259 towards Worthing.

At the Total petrol station turn left and then 1st left to Shoreham beach. Continue for 1 mile go to the Waterside Pub. Apartment is opposite.

"Disappointing Property Manager"

Whilst we were very satisfied with the quality of the accommodation, we were very disappointed with the management of our stay. The weeks leading up to our visit, the Managing Agent Kim was not readil… More

Firstly I would like to apologise if I did not give you the professional service I usually give. I keep my phone on 24/7 so that I can instantly help at any time no matter what I am doing but this particular time I was abroad and I would have asked that you email instead so that I could answer without interruption or because the reception was bad. It was a particularly busy period of wedding celebrations.
I do however feel it harsh to put a one star rating for such a minor point. Even if I did not give you the information you asked for straight away I would have done within a short period of time and your enjoyment of the property would not have been impaired. The £50 booking fee goes towards the top class housekeeping I have and is not for my time or service. The property as you say was perfect and this rating may not help others see or want to stay, as your star ratage is so harsh. Your stay was not an expensive one and you emailed to say you had a lovely time. Yours sincerely, Kim Matthews.

"A lovely apartment and can't wait to visit again"

The apartment was lovely and spacious and very comfortable. It was a lovely bright apartment with 2 balconies, which we used and a lovely outlook - seaview from one. The shops were in walking distance over a quaint bridge with all the restuarants/bars etc to enjoy. There are lovely walks and we enjoyed looking at the houseboats, walking along the beach - all close by.
