The garden is full of exceptional bird life and there are wonderful walks surrounding the property. Horse riding and golf are available nearby as is one of the nicest country pubs in the country.

Co Wicklow is known as the Garden or Ireland. Garden visiting is just one of the many activities the area offers. There is walking, riding, cycling and beautiful beaches only forty minutes away. Local cities in the South East worth visiting include Kilkenny, Wexford and Waterford.
Shillelagh / Minmore area
Shillelagh was originally part of the old Firzwilliam/Coolattin Estate - famous for its wonderful oak forests. These are now depleted but some remain. There are wonderful walks within the Estate.

Ferries to Dublin, Dun Laoghaire and Rosslare. Stenna Line and Irish Ferries.

Both areas have French doors opening onto a generous terrace complete with table and chairs.
Further details outdoors: The cottage is set in a fenced/walled garden and is accessed via a five bar wooden gate which closes.
There is a large area of gravel for parking and the garden itself is mainly lawn.
