The comfortable accommodation includes three bedrooms, an attractive conservatory, and a third of an acre of beautiful gardens. The cottage is a great base from which to explore the surrounding area including the Abbey and music festival at Glastonbury; the shops at Street; Wells Cathedral; Cheddar Gorge; Wookey Hole, and many wonderful countryside walks.

Third of an acre lawned garden with pond & patio (accessed by steps) with garden furniture. Sorry, no pets & no smoking. Shop 3 miles. Pub 0.5 miles. Note: Due to unfenced pond, property is suitable for children over 8 only.

The Shepton Mallet area
Sutton is a peaceful hamlet located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty three miles from the market town of Castle Cary. The town has delightful winding streets on which stand thatched golden hamstone cottages, and also offers an eclectic selection of antique shops, local stores, restaurants and pubs. Castle Cary is a horsehair weaving centre, and is home to a flax mill which is still in production - guided tours are available for an intriguing look into this ancient traditional craft. Nearby, visitors can explore the South Somerset countryside and its landscapes of lush pastureland; picturesque villages; the 28 mile Leland Trail, and the South Somerset Cycle Trail. The Haynes Motor Museum at Sparkford, East Somerset Railway and theYeovilton Air Museum are all close by, and the towns of Glastonbury and Sherborne are also within easy reach.

,The cottage was a real home-from-home. We all enjoyed the setting and atmosphere and didn't even bother to go out to eat in the evening as we felt so at ease. There were many places to visit which were only a short drive away and the surrounding countryside was lovely.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
