Two bedroomed apartment on select complex in Nabq Bay area of Sharm El Sheikh. 700 metres from the beach and with amazing views to the sea and mountains of the Sinai desert. In an up and coming area away from the hustle and bustle of Na ama Bay yet close enough to all amenities.

Perfect for families, friends,and couples who want to escape from the boredom and repetition of all inclusive hotels and enjoy the freedom to experience all that Sharm has to offer. Fantastic for divers as we have our own resident dive instructors and fantastic coral reefs on our doorstep.

Apartment has one double bedroom with king size bed and double patio doors which lead onto the large balcony with pool view. Second bedroom has twin beds,both bedrooms have ample fitted wardrobes, ceiling fans and contemporary décor.

Well equipped kitchen with electric hob, breakfast bar and stools.Bathroom with toilet, bath and shower. Living room with comfortable bed settee and armchair ,double patio doors and picture window leading onto the balcony and pool views. TV with DVD player and access to numerous satellite channels.Large air conditioning unit in the main room with a portable pedestal fan for your convenience.

Balcony has table and four chairs also outside lighting and Bedouin cushions for night time relaxation.

Roof terrace with sunbeds ,tables and chairs is a perfect spot to watch the sun set over the mountains,giving spectacular views to the sea and Tiran island.

365 days of sunshine and amazing scenery.Temperatures from 20 degrees in the winter up to 50 in the height of summer.

A Mecca for diving and snorkelling but with so much more to offer than the usual beach holiday, a mixture of culture and relaxation making for a memorable stay . With the red sea to one side and the mountains of the Sinai desert on the other the apartment is in a truly beautiful setting.

Sharm El Sheikh / Nabq Bay area

There is no end to the places to visit and things to do ,or you could just do nothing and relax surrounded by some of the most amazing scenery in the world .

There is something to suit everyone and everything from paint balling to quad biking through the desert,camel and horse riding to visits to St Catherines Monastery A definite must is a boat trip to either the train straights or Ras Mohammed,a visit to one of the water parks is great fun for everyone and the wonders of the pyramids and valley of the kings are only a 50 minute flight away.

Kite surfing and diving tuition is available and customers have exclusive rates available for dive courses from our resident PADI dive instructors. There is even an ice skating rink and an ice bar open in Soho Square, an exclusive entertainment area where you have to dress for dinner!

The main draw here is the sea life and the Nabq area has some of the best unspoilt coral reefs in the world. A day at your choice of beach,one of many open to you, can be followed by a relaxing evening in one of the many quality bars and restaurants in the Nabq area or just a 20 minute taxi ride takes you to the bustle of Na ama Bay or Old Market.

There is something to suit all tastes and pockets from KFC, Hard Rock cafe and TGI Fridays to Peking Chinese, On Fish, Oriental cafe for authentic egyptian or Little Buddha sushi just to mention a few.

Not forgetting all the cafes where you can drink a glass of mint tea and smoke a shisha pipe. Alcohol is widely available and where it is not served they have no objection to bringing your own.

If you want to have an evening at home the largest supermarket in the Sharm area is in Nabq itself, only minutes from the apartment and can provide everything from fresh meat and fish, deli meats and ready meals to fresh fruit and veg and branded products. There is even a delivery service.

There is a guide book and folder full of info we have collected on our travels around the area in the apartment to guide you to making the most of your stay with us.

How to get there

There are many airlines that now operate from the UK to Sharm El Sheikh. Prices can be as low as £135 in the winter ( from November to March) and rise to £400 in the height of summer.Any problems with obtaining flights please ask and we will search for you. The apartment is only 10 minutes from the airport and transfers can be arranged from £11 one way for two people.Larger groups can be accommodated ,please ask for details.

Airlines include Thomsonfly , Fly thomas cook , Monarch , Easyjet ,First Choice and Jet2 .Or try comparison website travel supermarket.

Fully equipped apartment with ample towels and bedding provided, even your beach towels are included. We have also included such home comforts as iron and ironing board,hair dryer and ceramic hair straighteners,george foreman grill,full length mirror and we have decorated the apartment with those finishing touches such as lamps, cushions,side tables,candles,incense burners and art work ,all designed to make your stay in our apartment an experience you will want to repeat.

Comfortably sleeps 4 and further guests can be accommodated on the bed settee in the living room. The bed settee is designed to sleep 2 adults but in my opinion it would be a squeeze,it would easily accommodate two children, though the choice is yours. Cots are available to hire at a cost of £10 per week.

For your convenience there is even a mobile phone on the Egyptian network which is not only handy for ordering take-away's and taxis, but makes it so much cheaper to phone home.

Further details outdoors:
Total of 5 pools on the complex,one heated. Sunbeds and umbrellas around each of the pools.Pool bar serving drinks and snacks with a swim up bar .

Stunning, carefully tended gardens with stone summerhouses that have tables and chairs inside if you need to escape from the hot egyptian sun.

Shop on site and admin office with internet access at 10le per hour.

On site taxi service with individual trips or weekly rates from 500 le per week for two people. Local bus available from outside complex at cost of 5le to Na ama Bay.

Beach is only a 10 minute walk away or transport is included in the £2.50 daily admission charge to the 5 star Sea Club and Sea life hotels.There you have full use of the sunbeds, pools,beach with fantastic snorkelling and wonderful bars and restaurants .You can also make use of the on site entertainment team or enjoy the health club facilities.

Other beaches within driving distance include public beach at Sharks Bay only 15 minutes away, There you will find sunbeds and bedouin cafes,bars and restaurants.At night time you can eat on the beach by candlelight at Umbi fish restaurant, a truly romantic location.

Regency Plaza 5 star hotel in Nabq 10 minutes away has a shallow gently shelving beach perfect for the children.There are a number of stunning pools and a beach side promanade that you can stroll along for miles or cheat and hire a moped.There are also quad bikes available,horse and camel rides and children's electric cars.

All of these are charged at £2.50 per day including transfers ,exclusive to customers of Egyptian Experience.

Further a field you have two water parks both highly recommended and numerous private beaches where admission price varies.El Fanar is beautiful and admision costs £5 which includes a beach towel,bottle of water and wonderfully attentive staff who deliver iced cloths to your sunbed to keep you cool.

The Sunrise Tirana Aqua Park Resort is due to open next door in October 2008 and consists of a 5 star hotel with a fantastic water park and numerous restaurants and bars right on our doorstep.

English speaking staff are on hand to answer any questions you may have and arrange trips for you.

There is a small shop on site which sells basics such as bread ,water,eggs and soft drinks.The main supermarket is a short drive away.

Welcome packs can be arranged for your arrival consisting of 12 bottles of water,toilet rolls,tea,sugar,milk,coffee,butter,fruit juice,bread,rolls and eggs at a cost of £14.

PLEASE NOTE that it is against the law in Egypt for an egyptian to stay with a member of the opposite sex without proof of marriage and we are obliged to comply with this rule.

Conditions

£50 none refundable deposit with balance due 8 weeks before trip. £50 breakages deposit payable on arrival when a full inventory will be taken, refunded on completion of inventory on departure.

Dates can be reserved for 7 days without any cost or committment to yourselves in order to secure flights.

The price is for the apartment not per person and applies all year round, no increases for school holidays.10% discount for stays of over 3 weeks. The apartment can sleep up to 6 people,however this includes two people on the bed settee in the lounge area.

PLEASE NOTE Additionally the electricity and water are on meters and readings will be taken at the beginning and end of your stay. It is your responsibility to pay for the utilities before you leave, as a guide you can expect to pay around £15 per week in the winter months rising to around £30 per week in the summer, dependent on how much the air conditioning is used.

The apartment will have been fully cleaned prior to arrival,additional cleaning can be arranged at your own expense. Laundry will be done at the end of your stay.

Apartment is fantastic,contemporary decor and furnished to a very high standard.There is everything you need to enjoy a very comfortable stay.Views from the balcony over the pool area and from the roof terrace are stunning.Complex is lovely and ideally situated for both Nabq and Na ama bay.There are numerous beaches nearby ,all are great for chilling out and have good facilities.The apartment is a perfect base for an egyptian experience.Jo and Lee ,Sprotbrough (Nov 2008)
