Two bedroomed top floor apartment on a small private complex in Nabq Bay area of Sharm El Sheikh. 700 metres from the beach and with amazing views to the sea and mountains of the Sinai desert from the roof terrace. In an up and coming area away from the hustle and bustle of Na ama Bay yet close enough to all amenities.
Complex has been featured on Real Estate TV ' The next big thing ' and was winner of the CNBC best new development in Egypt 2006. Our actual apartment was also featured in the "Place In The Sun" magazine September 2011 .
Our apartment and the self catering option is perfect for anyone who wants to escape from the boredom and repetition of a holiday in an all inclusive hotel. Stay with us and enjoy the freedom to experience all that Sharm has to offer. Eat somewhere different every night or chose to stay home and enjoy a relaxing meal on the balcony. You decide! Fantastic for divers as we have our own resident dive instructors and stunning coral reefs to expore right on our doorstep.

Well equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer ,electric hob and oven plus a microwave. Choice of locations to eat with a breakfast bar and 4 stools in the kitchen or table and chairs on the balcony.
Bathroom with toilet, bath and shower.
Living room with comfortable bed settee and armchair ,double patio doors and picture window leading onto the balcony and pool views.
TV with DVD player and access to numerous satellite channels.Large air conditioning unit in the main room with a portable pedestal fan for your convenience. Also portable stereo CD/MP3 player and selection of CDs or just fetch your own to listen while you chill out in these fabulous surroundings.
i POD docking station and a PS2 games console plus assorted games now also available to keep everyone entertained.
Balcony has table and four chairs plus new wicker furniture consisting of settee, 2 armchairs and table. We have also had some Bedouin cushions made to use where you wish for relaxing on an evening.
Roof terrace with table and chairs is a perfect spot to watch the sun set over the mountains,giving spectacular views to the sea and Tiran island.
The apartment is well equipped with ample towels and bedding provided, even your beach towels are included. We have also included such home comforts as iron and ironing board,hair dryer ,george foreman grill,full length mirror and we have decorated the apartment with those finishing touches such as lamps, cushions,side tables,candles,incense burners and art work ,all designed to make your stay in our apartment an experience you will want to repeat.
There is a selection of books and DVDs available in the apartment.
We also now have a safe to store your valuables without having to use the safety deposit boxes in the office.
Comfortably sleeps 4 and further guests can be accommodated on the bed settee in the living room. The bed settee is designed to sleep 2 adults. Cots are available to hire at a cost of 100LE per week.
For your convenience there is even a mobile phone on the Egyptian network which is not only handy for ordering take-away's and taxis, but makes it so much cheaper to phone home.

The Sunrise Tirana Aqua Park Resort consists of a 5 star hotel next door to our complex with a fantastic water park and numerous restaurants and bars . The hotel is open now for guests of Egyptian Experience to use the water park , lovely beach ,bars and restaurants . Pass for the beach costs 55LE per person per day or include the water park for 110LE
Other beaches within driving distance include public beach at Sharks Bay only 15 minutes away, There you will find sunbeds and bedouin cafes,bars and restaurants.At night time you can eat on the beach by candlelight at Umbi fish restaurant, a wonderful romantic location. Day pass with return transport 35LE
Newly opened in Nabq is Zouana Beach, a short 10 minute drive away.The ultimate chill out spot with DJ on the beach, bean bags and Foam parties every Saturday.Day pass with return transport 30LE foam party 60LE. Egyptian Experience also get a 20% discount off food and drinks at the bar.

Further a field you have two water parks both highly recommended having tested them both repeatedly and numerous private beaches where admission price varies.
El Fanar is a beautiful beach and admission costs 60LE which includes a beach towel,bottle of water and wonderfully attentive staff who deliver iced cloths and fruit kebabs to your sunbed to keep you cool and refreshed.

English speaking staff are on hand to answer any questions you may have and arrange trips for you from the on site office. English run Dolfen Tours, whose owner lives on the complex, can also organise any excursions you wish to take at competitive prices. Alternatively barter for any trips with the companies down town.
There is a small shop on site which sells basics such as bread ,water,eggs and soft drinks.The main supermarket is a short drive away and will deliver.
Welcome packs can be arranged for your arrival consisting of 12 bottles of water,toilet rolls,tea,sugar,milk,coffee,butter,fruit juice,bread,rolls and eggs at a cost of 140LE
PLEASE NOTE that it is against the law in Egypt for an Egyptian to stay with a member of the opposite sex without proof of marriage and we are obliged to comply with this rule .This only applies to Egyptians and not other nationalities.
Conditions
£50 none refundable deposit with balance due 8 weeks before trip. £50 breakages deposit payable on arrival when a full inventory will be taken, refunded on completion of inventory on departure.
Dates can be reserved for 7 days without any cost or committment to yourselves in order to secure flights.

Apartment is top floor of 3 storey block, just to bear in mind if you cant manage the stairs as there is no lift. We think the views are worth the extra steps, check out the photographs from the roof!
Flexible check out times at no extra cost providing there are no guests due to arrive the same day.

The Red Sea Riviera/Sinai region
365 days of sunshine and amazing scenery.Temperatures from 20 degrees in the winter up to 50 in the height of summer. An all year round holiday destination with almost zero rainfall. We have been at all times of the year and have a young son and know first hand what its like traveling with children, so if in doubt please ask for details of the weather when you wish to travel or any other questions you may have and we will be happy to advise you.
Sharm is a mecca for diving and snorkelling but with so much more to offer than the usual beach holiday, a mixture of culture and relaxation making for a memorable stay . With the red sea to one side and the mountains of the Sinai desert on the other the apartment is in a truly beautiful setting.
The Sharm El Sheikh / Nabq Bay area
There is no end to the places to visit and things to do ,or you could just do nothing and relax surrounded by some of the most amazing scenery in the world .
There is something to suit everyone and everything from paint balling to quad biking through the desert,camel and horse riding to visits to St Catherines Monastery A definite must is a boat trip to either the train straights or Ras Mohammed,a visit to one of the water parks is great fun for everyone and the wonders of the pyramids and valley of the kings are only a 50 minute flight away.
Kite surfing and diving tuition is available and customers have exclusive rates available for dive courses from our resident PADI dive instructors.
There is even an ice skating rink and an ice bar open in Soho Square, an exclusive entertainment area where you have to dress for dinner! The open air stage here hosts acts from around the world. Boney M have put in an appearance ,outdoor glass squash courts were set up to showcase the egyptian squash championships ,the world belly dancing championships were held here and Ali Campbell from UB40 and the band Steps were also here in summer 2010 just to give you an idea of the diversity of the entertainment available.
The main draw to the Sinai peninsula is the sea life and the Sharm area has some of the best unspoilt coral reefs in the world. A day at your choice of beach,one of many open to you, can be followed by a relaxing evening in one of the many quality bars and restaurants in the Nabq area or just a 20 minute taxi ride takes you to the bustle of Na ama Bay or Old Market.
There is something to suit all tastes and pockets from well known brands like KFC, Hard Rock cafe and TGI Fridays to Peking Chinese, On Fish, Oriental cafe or Abu El Sid for authentic egyptian or even Little Buddha sushi just to mention a few.
Not forgetting all the cafes where you can drink a glass of mint tea and smoke a shisha pipe. Alcohol is widely available and where it is not served they have no objection to bringing your own.
If you want to have an evening at home the largest supermarket in the Sharm area is in Nabq itself, only a few minutes drive from the apartment and can provide everything from fresh meat and fish, deli meats and ready meals to fresh fruit and veg and branded products. There is even a delivery service for a small charge of 40 pence. There are also a variety of food outlets who deliver meals ready prepared to your door...well you are on holiday!!
There is a guide book and folder full of info we have collected on our travels around the area in the apartment to guide you to making the most of your stay with us.

There are many airlines that now operate from the UK to Sharm El Sheikh. Prices can be as low as £135 and rise to £400 in the height of the summer holidays. Any problems with obtaining flights please ask and we will be happy to search for you.
The apartment is only 10 minutes from the airport and transfers can be arranged from 110LE one way for two people.Larger groups can be accommodated ,please ask for details.
For anyone booking the return airport transfer the complex will provide a free of charge return trip to the main supermarket with 20 minutes shopping time.

This apartment was great for us as we are a family of 5 with young children. Really well equipped from everything you need in the kitchen to spare duvets, swim gear and more. The place was is well decorated which was a bonus and the views from the apartment and the rooftop were fab. Want to go back so badly!! Lynne, the owner, was a great help beforehand, answering all our queries honestly and the staff at the complex were just lovely. I can't fault our holiday at all and would go back in a heartbeat. |

Fantastic apartment with everything you need, short trip away from most places, taxis very cheap, there were nine of us and it only cost eight pounds for a return trip to La Strada !! Lyn (the owner) was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had which is more than you get at a travel agents. We had a great time and would not hesitate to back. |

Have just come back from a wonderful holiday at Egyptian Experience and just want to say a massive thank you to Lynne for letting us use her fabulous apartment.
The apartment itself is beautiful, so well decorated , with a lovely large balcony for eating al fresco or just lounging on the settee with your afternoon drinks. There were also so many little extras that you don't normally get when self catering. Not only is there a dvd player and playstation, but Lynne has thoughtfully provided several dvd's and games as well.
There are loads of books to read as well as some games for the children. There are also several goggles and snorkels available as well as some boogie boards which saves a few pennies.
The staff at the complex were all friendly and so helpful.
Best of all though, was the really personal and wonderful service we received from Lynne. She is welcoming and helpful from when you first make your booking to when you arrive back home. She gave us loads of information as it was our first time in Sharm, and when we had a problem (got stranded without transport!)while we were out there, she was on the other side of the phone straight away with help.
I can't recommend this apartment enough, and as someone else has already mentioned, I doubt you will get anywhere near as nice an apartment or as good a service on any package holiday ( March 2011 )
Thank you very much for the use of your apartment for the last couple of weeks.
We have had a nice lazy time, either lounging around at the complex, snorkelling at Sharks Bay or diving with Simon. Having Simon and Sarah living so close made things very stress free for sorting out the diving. They took good care of us and can be highly recommended.
The air and sea temperatures at this time of year are just right, and the mosquitoes weren't too bad, though we were very grateful for the netting around the bed to keep off the few little blighters that did sneak into the flat
Overall, we had a great time and found dealing with a "Real" person who knows and cares about the accommodation we were staying in, and who is prepared to answer even the silliest question, like do they sell our favourite brand of chocolate locally, to be a vast improvement on the usual facelessness we get from the average travel company.Thanks Lynne !

Just a word of appreciation and thanks! We have been to Egyptian Experience 6 times now! We have seen many apartments in sharm at this stage and to be honest in yours....even my husband was taken back by the romantic feel to the interior decor and lovely lighting within R31! He opened the door to the main bedroom and the first words he said were...<WOW> Honestly Lynne as an interior designer myself you did work wonders with this 2 bedroom apartment it is lovely. The second bedroom suitable for adults or children was so comfortable & lovely it would certainly make our 4 year old daughter feel at home while away! The little wall motifs were charming! And with regards to furniture there was more than enough interior and exterior seating tables etc!! this apartment would accomadate a family of 4-6 easily. Nabq is just so peaceful, only a short ride to the busier Naama but by far much more suitable for family vacations. We would highly recommend this complex for the young and fit as walking and transporting is unavoidable but oh.. how the tranquility is well worth it! Thank you again Lynne for a wonderful holiday and beautiful apartment with everything we needed for our stay+more ( June2010 )

The apartment can sleep up to 6 people,however this includes two people on the bed settee in the lounge area. Additional nights are charged at £20 per night.
PLEASE NOTE Additionally the electricity and water are on meters and readings will be taken at the beginning and end of your stay. It is your responsibility to pay for the utilities before you leave, as a very rough guide you can expect to pay no more than £25 per week in the winter months rising to a maximum of £50 per week in the summer, dependent on how much the air conditioning is used. These are based on previous customers maximum usage.
The apartment will have been fully cleaned prior to arrival,additional cleaning can be arranged at your own expense. Laundry will be done at the end of your stay.
