About the home

The beautiful whitewashed two storey property is a 15 minute taxi drive from the airport at Sharm El Sheikh, in a quiet, residential area between Naama Bay and Old Sharm ensuring quiet, security and privacy inside a gated enclosure. Furnished, equipped and cleaned to very high standards throughout and with a wonderful shared swimming pool in an attractive large patio area. Views out to the sea and mountains and close to all Naama Bay and local amenities and beaches

A second apartment is also available for larger groups looking to holiday together.

Situated on the first floor of the two storey whitewashed building and accessed via a single set of wide and well lit stairs. The apartment is well equipped and furnished to a very good and comfortable standard and is a real home from home with all the comforts you could expect to make your holiday with us truly memorable

The sitting room is a light and airy with 2 large windows facing the mountains, all are fitted with mosquito shutters so can be opened without letting in the mosquitoes. It has two large comfortable sofas seating 6 people; TV with satellite showing hundreds of channels including many English speaking film, show and sports channels. There are rugs, lamps and cushions adding to the warmth and comfort of the room. A small balcony provides a lovely place to sit and watch the sun set at the end of a busy day

the kitchen area leads from the sitting room and is fitted with a good sized work surface, lots of cupboards, and equipped with washing machine, full sized 4 ring gas cooker and extractor, fridge, toaster, kettle, smoothie maker / blender, and lots of pots, pans and crockery etc. Cleaning equipment is provided with plenty of cloths, dusters and tea towels.

The bathroom is a wet room fitted with a shower and large basin, its fully tiled and has a constant supply of hot water

The master bedroom is fitted with a very comfortable double bed, huge wardrobes and dressing table, bedside table and furnished with soft duvets, good quality linens, lamps, cushions etc. The full length silk curtains provide a cool luxurious feel and provide black-out. The room has a calm relaxing ambience

the second bedroom has 2 single beds each with soft duvets and good quality linens and pillows. More large wardrobes, bedside table, mirrors and lamps.

All rooms are fitted with efficient and silent air conditioning units that can be managed independently, there is constant hot water

Further details outdoors:
Outside is a beautiful shared swimming pool, cleaned daily and open for your use 24 hours a day. Great for a midnight swim in the height of the season. There is a children's area and the pool is easily accessible for all ages.

Exclusively for your use are sun loungers with soft cushions, umbrellas and tabel and chairs. Lounge or eat by the pool; bring your music and speakers and relax all day and evening in the delightful terrace bordered by flowers and shrubs.

Airport transfers are available at £20 (200LE) per car per journey

You need a valid passport - you will be given an entry form to complete on the plane.

If you wish to travel outside of Sharm e.g. to visit Cairo, Alexandria or Luxor you will need a separate Visa, which you can obtain from the airport on your arrival.

Please also bring a photocopy of your passport to be held during your visit.

The balance can be paid upon arrival or before departure. The price includes gas, electricity and plumbed water supply and is per apartment not per person. Towels and linen are also provided at no extra cost. Change of linen will be provided after each week.

The Red Sea Riviera/Sinai region

Sharm el Sheikh is very cosmopolitan, you will find every nationality here, reflected in its restaurants, shops and nightlife.

From Sharm you can take tours into the Sinai desert, the Red City of Petra, see Roman remains, an ancient monastery in the desert with its three Christian churches and experience a day with Bedouins.

The Sinai Mountains are spectacular especially at sun set (experience this from your balcony!), Nature Trails and Desert treks are well organised.

The waters of the Red Sea - starting in the North at the exit from the Suez Canal down to the Indian Ocean, are considered the best in the world for divers at all depths. There have been several shipwrecks here dating back to steamships carrying convicts to Australia, all of which will be well documented by the divers who can introduce you to the sport or supervise the experienced. The reefs in the coastal waters are reputed to be the most colourful in the world, snorkelling here is an amazing experience. See dolphins, take a day on the sea, there is a varied choice of boat - swim, fish and then dine one board.

Cairo and Alexandra are not close, but can be reached by car, coach and plane but at least one overnight stay is necessary, there is too much to see on ‘day out’

The Sharm El Sheikh / Naama Bay area

Sharm El Sheikh stretches from the original "Old Town" in the South close to the borders of Ras Mohamed National Park to the boundaries of the Nabq protctorate in the North.

Naama Bay is the cosmopolitan area of Sharm and is where the main nightlife can be found. Top club names like Hard Rock cafe, pacha, Little Buddha and many others can be found amidst the fusion of wonderful restauarnts, bars and cafes. Stroll along the beach in the early evening, sit and eat ice cream, barter with the shop keepers and marvel at the colours and noise of this bustling area, the heart of Sharm.

Hadaba means 'hill' and is Sharms main residential area. Recently the area has developed and now boasts many excellent eateries and bars. It is the home of the Dolphinarium, Aqua Parc, Fantazia and has some excellent beaches including El Fanar.

Old Market has gone through many transformations over the last 10 years, from the distant outpost of food supplies and workshops to the vibrant hub of authentic tea shops and restaurants, spice sellers, vegetable markets and tourist souvenirs. the colour, magic and bustling environment should not be missed.

Nabq covers the area north of the airport and is about 25 minutes north of the centre. It has its own area of shops and restaurants and has many of the large 5 star hotels. Sharke bay is in thi direction but situated before Nabq; an excellent beach for divingfand snorkelling.

Hey El Noor is a peaceful residential area half way between Naama Bay and Old Market. It is easily accessible from any area and within walking distance of both places. It has its own local shops and cafes and houses the new Mosque and Coptic Christian Church

Il Mercato is a new shopping centre in the Hadaba area and is lovely for an evening stroll, a good restauarant or shopping in the wonderful designer shops. It has plenty of high street cafes including MacDonalds, Starbucks etc and you can sit for hours watchig the passers by and surfing using the free internet provided in most outlet.

Local Activities
Diving and snorkelling are at the heart of this amazing resort and Sharm on the Red Sea boasts some of the best coral and diving in the world. There are lots of excellent diving schools and safety is a main feature of the packages they offer. You can take a certified course, dive in open water, dive from day cruises and dive to see the many and varied ship wrecks in the aea

take a day on a boat, swim in the turquoise waters, snorkel and dive from the boat, eat a sumptuous lunch on board freshly cooked by the staff and take in the sun and the amazing coastal views. Watch the dolphins play in the water around your boat. Day trips to ras Mohamed National Park; along the coats line and Tiran Island are a must.

Quad biking in the desert is a great experience, drive into the mountain ranges, call out your name to hear the echoes, climb the rocks to watch the sun set and drink tea with the bedhouins

Water sports in abundance; jet skiing, water skiing, paragliding, banana boats, submarines and glass bottom boats, speed boats and sailing

Golf at Moven Pick hotel; water shoots and an excellent day out at Aqua park ride cmels; swim with dolphins; take an open jeep on a desert safari; visit st Catherines Monastary; climb the Sinia mountains to wach the sun rise; snorkel and dive from El Fanar, Sharks Bay and many other excellent beaches; dance in the great nightclubs and eat in the many restaurants; take tea and soak in the view from the cliff tops and Sadiki; visit the hotels for dinner, drinks and ice cream. Fantasia is a must with authentic belly and Egyptian dancing relaxing on souks and smoking a shisha. Walk, cycle, swim or just relax by the pool outside your lovely apartment.

My stay was truly delightful, the entrance is majestic, the grounds, pool, gardens spotless as was the apartment, so light, spacious and modern. Everything I needed was at hand. If I needed help or assistance all I needed to do was ask, nothing was a problem, they were there for me 24x7. situated in a very quiet, truly Egyptian environment close to the beautiful Christian church and the Mosque, close to all the amenities. Gill, the owner was kindness herself and everyone including the locals were very friendly and obliging. A perfect vacation and a true taste of Egypt.
