About the home

This is a new (Nov 07) luxury 130sq metre 2 bedroom apartment in phase 2 of this popular complex (classed locally as 7 star!). Furnished to the highest standards with polished marble floors and air conditioning throughout, and marble worktops to the handmade fitted kitchen. Master bedroom has a king sized bed and 2 single sofa beds and t.v. 2nd bedroom has 2 x three quarter beds, the bedrooms comfortably sleep 6 (without having to use the lounge area). This has been furnished with families in mind with a travelcot and highchair supplied and a bath.

This apartment is furnished and located with families in mind, in a quiet location away from the nightly entertainment but still within easy reach of the swimming pools ( approx 200 metres )and the new children's nursery. We supply a travelcot with bedding and a mothercare folding booster seat high chair (suitable for 6+ months).

The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need, including fully fitted kitchen in hardwood and green indian marble worktops with an inset electric hob and built in fan oven, american fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and plenty of kitchen utensils.

The dining area has a dining table to seat 6. Lounge area has a large modern 3 piece suite (sofa could be made into 7th bed) 29" colour t.v. with 64 cable channels, dvd player, nintendo wii & remote controlled air conditioning. The terrace area also has a large 6 seater dining table and chairs. The Bathroom has the usual fittings with a bath with shower over. Bedroom 1 has queen size bed, 2 single sofa beds dressing table with mirror and wardrobe and 14" colour t.v & remote controlled air conditioning & Ipod docking station. Bedroom 2 has 2 three quarter beds, a dressing table with mirror and wardrobes & remote controlled air conditioning.

Towel cards for free sunbeds and towels at all 12 pools. Shuttle bus available to the beach and Naama Bay. Taxi rank outside of main entrance. Shops, supermarkets and restaurants (with home delivery), full fitness suite ( including sauna, massage, jacuzzi ) and full laundry service all onsite. Secure Creche with paddling pool and children's play area. The gated complex has 24 hour security.
Wifi now available free at the main pool!!
Please be aware, that if you go into an Oil/perfume shop it is very hard to get out without a purchase. If you are not interested in buying, say NO quite sternly and walk way!! Don't let them intimadate you.

We have 2 egyptian, english speaking agents who will be happy to help you with anything you need, who's telephone numbers will be stored in the pay as you go phone supplied in the apartment. These 2 agents are very helpfull and will arrange any excursions you want to book aswell as helping you with any local knowledge and advise.

The Red Sea Riviera/Sinai region

Sharm el sheikh is located on the sinai penninsula in the red sea on the gulf of arabia. We have visited the area for the last 4 years at all times of the year including spending 3 christmas's there, the sun is hot all year round and it never rains. the resort has all the usual activities including quad bike tours,jeep safari's,boat trips and is known worldwide for its corals and fish which have to be seen to be believed.

Should you wish to travel a bit further then Luxor with the valley of the kings, Cairo, Giza with the pyramids, Saint Cathrines monestry at mount sinai with the burning bush are within easy reach. ( Our agents would be happy to arrange any activity for you at a competetive price).

The Sharm El Sheikh / Naama Bay area

Delta sharm is located half way between Naama bay and old sharm. Naama bay is the main area with many restaurants serving local food, but if you would like to accommodate the less adventurous then there are always the familiar names ( Hard rock cafe, pizza hut, Mc donalds, and KFC ) . Because of the climate the shops and restaurants are quite during the day but really come alive at night.

Old sharm is smaller than Naama bay but just as busy in the evening, with the old market and the smaller shops and restaurants in the back streets it is more interesting and you always feel safe and at ease.

“The Perfect Apartment” We stayed at this apartment for two weeks in August, the booking was easy, and no problems with the payment. When we arrived at the apartment, the local agent was there as promised (we had even been sent a photo of him upfront so we knew who to look for). He showed us around the apartment, helped us get our bags in and said to give him a call if we needed anything. The apartment was clean on arrival, and it had everything we could ever need and more. We were really happy that the apartment had a booster seat for our little girl (every bit of extra space in the suitcase was appreciated!). The second bedroom is massive, with two 'double' sized beds in it and a futon, and loads of storage space. The lounge is nicely furnished with a couple of chairs and a large comfy sofa (perfect for crashing on when the little ones are sleeping). We had intended on self catering, but the local takeaways sell such cheap and good food (Pizza for £2 - £4 delivered, chips £1, tomato & mozzarella salad £1) that we never bothered once!, The restaurants nearby are also good value. The resort itself if nice, as often described in tripadvisor reviews elsewhere, its not a true 5 star, bit the swimming pools are clean and well maintained, the resort is clean, the staff friendly, its all you need, and whilst not all inclusive a can of Coke costs 50p, and an ice cream around 90p for a nice one - so it doesn't break the bank. Delta Sharm is only a 5 minute taxi ride from Naama Bay (Only pay 20LE at most to your apartment door - they will try to drop you off outside), we spent many evenings there, the choice of places to eat is fab, and so is the atmosphere. There is also a free Delta Sharm shuttle bus to the beach leaving in the morning and coming back at lunchtime or about 3.30 (but again a taxi costs no more than 20LE if yo uwant to come and go as you please - just tell them what you are paying upfront then you don't get any hassle). Ahmed at the beach sells the best pizza I have had, and again drinks are cheap. All in all, considering we have stayed in Egypt 10 times before in different resorts, ranging from self catering apartments to the Four Seasons, we both agreed that this was our most enjoyable holiday in Egypt yet. “best apartment in sharm” i stayed in this apartment for a month in dec 2011, it is by far the nicest apartment at the delta sharm complex (stayed in 9 different apartments) has everything you would want or need for holiday away, a real home from home. Close enough to pools, restaurantS, shops etc but far enough away from any noise! large rooms very clean, large tv, sky, wii, all mod cons!! angi was great was very easy to book no problems at all! mohammed "eddie" was great nothing was to much trouble for him! really enjoyed my stay in this apartment will defo return when back in sharm!! thanks again simon

“fantastic apartment” This apartment had every thing we could want. The guards who sat outside were so friendly and polite, the gardeners who always seemed so busy keeping the grounds beautiful. I( felt so relaxed staying there with my gran children aged 12, 13 and 16 that I had no worries about them swimming at night, going to use laptops at the pool. My big dissapointment is that I left it too late to book again this year 2012. Wont make the same mistake again.

Airport transfers (if required,arrival and departure) 350 l.e (egyptian pounds)for the first 2 people + 50 l.e per person thereafter.

Welcome pack will be supplied on your arrival.

Please don't forget you are responsible for arranging your own travel insurance to cover you for the entire duration of your stay

The price given is for the apartment including electricity and water, not per person.

Cancellations

29 - 56 days before arrival date - 50% of rental refunded

15-28 days before arrival - 25% of rental refunded

0-14 days before arrival - 10% of rental refunded

Liability is limited to the value of the apartment booking

upon arrival an inventory of all equipment will be taken with our agent ( should your arrival be late at night then the following morning will be fine ) and a returnable deposit of £150 will be payable locally to the agent and refunded on departure.
