Sharks Bay is a delightful small bay which is situated approximately 5 km from Sharm International airport, 10 km from Nabq, 8 km from Naama Bay and 15 km Sharm Old Market.
Luxury new mall called Soho, with many new designer shops, supermarkets and restaurants etc. including an ice rink and cinema just a 5 minute taxi ride away. There is a water park in La Strada in Nabq.

Sharks Bay has a huge amount to offer, with 2 Padi diving schools, Snorkelling, Paragliding, wake boarding, water skiing, canoe hire, camel rides, 5 good restaurants, 3 Bedouin and coffee bars, several small gift shops and one limited supermarket on the beach. Golf course 5 minutes away, Quad biking and camel rides into the desert can be arranged.

Eric & Gill's apartment is more much spacious than we thought. While some apartments dubiously claim to sleep 4 or 6, 8, etc, this really is an apartment with plenty of space for 4 and adequate space for 6. The view from the large living-room and its balcony is picture-book. It would be hard to paint anything this good. The Shark's Bay Oasis resort where the apartment resides is beautifully arranged over a series of tiers which lead down to the beach, 2 minutes away, and which enable all the apartments a glorious sea view. All the staff are friendly here; everyone says hello and smiles. They're all happy spend time explaining whatever you need to know about the resort and the area. It's a 2-minute (20EP) taxi ride to the amazing Soho Square ~ shopping, bowling, ice-skating, restaurants, entertainment. Neama Bay is 10 minutes away (40EP) and there are always taxis waiting nearby to take you. The airport is 15 minutes away. You shouldn't pay more than 90EP. We've been to Sharm before; we offer 60EP: take it or leave it. They take it when you start to walk away. Facilities in the apartment are high quality; lots of space for food storage (inc big fridge-freezer), and lots of cutlery, plates, glasses, etc. Above all, there's a feeling of comfort here: unsurprisingly, because Eric and Gill have furnished the apartment for their own use, too. This isn't the typical cold, echoey rental apartment; it's a home. There's also a roof garden; but the apartment's balcony and swimming-pool have been so inviting, so far we've not been tempted up there! Eric and Gill are lovely people to deal with: they've printed out a sheet with all you need to know; anything else, they always at the end of a phone or an email. If you're coming to Sharm, it would be hard to find anything better than this apartment, this resort, and this area. |

We have stayed in this apartment 4 times already now and i have to say that this apartment is really the best in Sharm..having stayed in others before then discovering Eric and Gill apartment we don't want to book any where else.It has all that you need for a comfortable friendly stay.Right on the beach,very friendly staff in the complex,clean,enough towels and bed linen, a very comfortable modern apartment.A real home from home.Book because you won't be disappointed.Thank you Eric and Gill for letting us stay at your apartment once again and we will be back very soon.
