If you are looking for somewhere comfortable, clean, quiet & peaceful then Fiddlers Green will give you this and more at a very affordable price. The apartment is available all Year. Situated within an annexe of our home our aim is to give holiday makers quality accommodation at an affordable price. Guests have recommended us as "Must Stay". We are also receiving high Trip Advisor reviews with many returning guests. The apartment is located in an exceptionally quiet residential area very close Shanklin Old Village and local amenities. This well appointed deceptively spacious self-contained apartment (rated 5 stars by guests) sleeps one or two adults very comfortably.

The apartment is only available to adults. Accommodation comprises one bedroom with double bed considerable storage space and two comfy chairs, hall with storage, shower room with toilet and vanity unit. Fully equipped and fitted kitchen (with oven) within dining/lounge area. Televisions in both rooms, bedroom tv has dvd facility. The apartment has it's own access with private secluded sun deck pergola area for "alfresco" dining or breakfast in the sun. Off street secure parking is provided for one car. It's just a short distance to Shanklin beach. Cliff top walks from Shanklin to Sandown are highly recommended for a leisurely stroll or a good work out. We are only two minutes easy walk to Shanklin Old Thatched Village with many excellent taverns and restaurants. The Theatre and a variety of shops are also within easy walking distance. Bus stops are located just round the corner serving routes to Newport, Sandown, Ventnor and Ryde therefore affording visitors the chance to explore the Island and all it has to offer.

Activities available on the Island include walking, cycling, sailing, golf, fishing (sea, course and game), horse-riding and bird watching. Attractions such as The Needles, Black Gang Chine, Amazon Zoo Park, Sandown Zoo, Godshill Thatched Village & Tea Rooms, Donkey Sanctury, Carisbrooke Castle, Osborne House and many more are yours to discover.

Shower towels, tea towels, full bed linen are provided and changed weekly. Beach towels are available on request.

Fully stocked kitchen with crockery and utensiles also provided are scourers, dish cloths, washing up liquid, kitchen roll, toilet paper, bin bags,iron and ironing board. Our aim is to make your holiday comfortable and affordable.

The Isle of Wight region

The Isle of Wight is steeped in history. It was one of Queen Victoria favourite places to visit, that it why she had a residence constructed (Osborne House). The Island generally has the highest sunshine hours of the UK and it's beaches are some of the finest, Shanklin has "Blue Flag" status and voted one of the best in England. The Island is also very well serviced with high standard taverns and restaurants serving a variety of cuisine. The Island has many attractions for all ages and is equally well know as part fo the Durasic Coast with fosils of dinosaurs found on many beaches.


Activities available are walking, cycling, sailing, golf, fishing (sea course and game), horse-riding and bird watching. Attractions such as The Needles, Black Gang Chine, Amazon Zoo Park, Sandown Zoo, Donkey Sanctury, Godshill Thatched Village, Caribrooke Castle and Osbourne House. Locally the Old Village in Shanklin winds between traditional thatched cottages, cream-tea rooms, shops charming gardens and parks. The taverns serve an excellent range of home cooked food they also have entertainment most evenings. Explore the Shanklin Chine which is part of our national heritage and the Island's first tourist attraction, this scenic gorge in sandstone cliffs with waterfalls and streams leads down to the beach. It was once a smugglers haunt and now looks fabulous illuminated after dark. There is an exhibition hall in the chine where you can learn of the PLUTO pipe line under the ocean which carried fuel to the Allied troops in Normandy. At the top of the cliff there's the busy High Street and Regent Street with a variety of shops, tea rooms and restaurants.
