The Garden House

Cottage | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4

Key Info
  • Great for children of all ages
  • No pets allowed
  • Car advised

Great care has gone into the conversion of this former coach house, which is situated in the garden of a larger house in the village of Okeford Fitzpaine. Lying in the Stour Valley beneath Bulbarrow Hill, (900ft) from where there are magnificent views across several counties, this part of Dorset offers excellent opportunities for walking and cycling.

The interior of the Garden House, graded 4 stars by Visit Britain, has been very tastefully decorated, considerable care being taken through the furnishings, lighting and colour schemes to bring out the building's original character. This is combined with good amenities, including underfloor heating, making this a very comfortable base to return to after a busy day's sightseeing.
