The master bathroom has a large corner shower, toilet, vanity unit with mirror and shaver point. The twin bathroom is slightly smaller and is clad in pine with standard corner shower, toilet and vanity unit, mirror and shaver point.
The master bedroom leads out onto it's own balcony.
All bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs have open sloping ceilings and are clad in natural pine. The bedrooms have solid wood and cream dressing tables with small mirrors and stool. Also built into the slop of the ceilings are wooden slated shelves and open hanging rails. There are additional hooks on the backs of the doors for long garments.
The downstairs double bedroom is the smallest bedroom of the three with shelves and hanging rail tucked in behind the bed under the stairs.
The bathroom has a bath with hand held shower plus a shower over bath, toilet and vanity unit with mirror and shaver point.
Further details outdoors:
Duncliffe chalet has open grounds. A gravelled drive leads to the front where parking is for 2 cars. A tarmac path along one side takes you to the veranda and back door. A round wooden bench with attached seats is provided on the large decking where you can watch the spectacular sunset go down.
At the back of all four chalets is spacious shared grounds for games and generally running around.
One of our grazing fields adjoins the chalet but is separated by fencing. Dotted about are young Blue Spruce trees to eventually provide some privacy.
The latest facility for 2013 is a newly built games room. With table tennis, air hockey, table football and two coin operated pool table's there is ample to keep you occupied.

Enquire nowThe West Country / Dorset region
Dorset is.best known for it's rolling hillsides, dramatic cliffs, sweeping beaches, sleepy villages, bustling towns and quiet countryside - West Dorset's charms are there for all. Over half the county is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Dorset is famous for the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, which features landforms such as Lulworth Cove, the Isle of Portland, Chesil Beach and Durdle Door, as well as the holiday resorts of Bournemouth, Poole, Weymouth, Swanage, and Lyme Regis. Dorset's three large ports at Poole, Weymouth and Portland, and its international airport at Hurn, play an important part in the local economy, generating a substantial amount of international trade and tourism. Dorset is the birthplace and principal setting of the novels of Thomas Hardy, who was born in the county, and William Barnes, whose poetry celebrates and preserves the ancient Dorset dialect.
The Shaftesbury / West Stour area
West Stour is one of many small village's in North Dorset. It has a tiny village hall which backs onto the church and a pub providing excellent food and a large selection of ale. The Saxon town of Shaftesbury only a short driving distance sits proudly on top of a hill and offers unique gift shops and several cafe's. The famous cobbled Gold Hill (a scene in Thomas Hardy's 'Far From The Madding Crowd' and Hovis bread advert) remains unchanged. The views from Shaftesbury are truly spectacular

Duncliffe Chalet suited our requirements very well, as we needed a base for the weekend. It is well appointed and provided comfortable accommodation for our party of 5 adults. We particularly appreciated having 3 en suite bathrooms. |
