Beautiful contemporary house set in an idyllic location in over an acre of land, situated near to the historical town of Shaftesbury.

Ideal for entertaining large groups of up to 10 people for special occasions.

The house has been built for luxury living, with a large open plan kitchen / dinner and family room . It also boasts a separate, more formal, dinning room which opens up to a large living area with flat screen TV and fire for those cold nights.

Upstairs there are two master suites, one with a Super king size bed, en suite shower and a roof terrace over looking the spectacular country side. The other bedroom has a Super King bed with an en suite including free standing bath. Downstairs has an additional 2 Super king bedrooms, 2 sharing a Jack and Jill bathroom and the final bedroom equipped with 2 twin beds which has access to a separate bathroom.

The house has all your home comforts and is built for relaxing family breaks or for groups of friends looking for a getaway. Less than 2 hours by train from London with Gillingham train station less than a 10 minute drive away.

The house is within one hour’s drive of Bournemouth, Poole, studland, swanage, corfe castle, Stonehenge,Haynes motor museum, Longleat ,Stourhead and the wonderful Jurassic coast.

Many more National trust properties are are nearby.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lesley (the owner) a message.

If Lesley (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
