Hidden down a tree lined lane, close to the centre of the village of Giggleswick is Armistead Place; a detached house that has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard with great attention to detail. Wireless underfloor heating. Gas Aga Range for winter use only.
The spacious property is stylishly furnished and complemented with its own well stocked garden which has a patio that is south facing, with a garden table and chairs plus a barbecue. There are also playing fields nearby for children in a very safe environment. Bikes can be hired from a local source in Settle. Tennis Courts can be used at Giggleswick School and the High School in Settle. Giggleswick is in the heart of the Dales, literally walk out of the door and 5 minutes you will be in the most spectacular countryside which Yorkshire is so famous for. Cycling, Walking, Hill Walking Mountaineering, Fishing and much much more to be seen.

Giggleswick is in the heart of the dales with excellent walking, cycling, golf, caving and climbing and close by are the 3 Peaks – Ingleborough Whernside and Pen-y-gent, the river Ribble runs close by with beautiful less challenging riverside walks. Malham tarn and the river Ribble offer excellent fishing. Wonderful place to explore the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District being very central to Leeds, Harrogate, Ripon, Lancaster, Morecombe, Blackpool, Kendal, Keswick, Carlisle, and the wonderful Lakes of Coniston and Windermere within easy reach of a 45 minute drive. Head towards Hawes a wonderful route towards Richmond whereby you can visit Castle Bolton and Richmond Caste. Giggleswick is joined onto the market town of Settle a small market Town with a good array of shops and restaurants and supermakets.A market charter was granted in the town in 1249 which continues to this day. Ingleton some 10 minutes away has the Whitescar Caves well worth a visit. This area is a great walking, cycling, mountaineering area. There is a small Golf Course in Giggleswick and a full size Golf Course in Skipton 30 minutes away. Riding in the Dales can be achieved by going to Malham and Kilnsey, a must for riding enthusiasts as you travel on horseback over the hills and see the scenery in a totally different light.
Settle / Giggleswick area
Giggleswick has 2 pubs and a local tea shop/convenience store; within walking distance is the market town of Settle with a swimming pool, restaurants, wine bar and traditional Fish and Chip shops, tea rooms and 3 supermarkets.
Armistead Place is a perfect year round holiday destination, 40 minutes from the Lake District; Kirkby Lonsdale, Kendal, Windermere, and Bowness are all within easy reach. Skipton is a 30 minute drive and there are many local attractions, the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway, Gisburn Forest, Whitescar Caves in Ingleton and the scenic Waterfall walk. The famous 3 Peaks are just minutes away.
Beach: Morecombe Bay is only 45 min drive away or you can get the train from Giggleswick. Blackpool is just an 1hr1/2 away where you can enjoy the many amusements on offer

Nearest Airport Leeds Bradford - 1 hour away. Manchester Airport approx 1hour and a quarter. Blackpool Airport 1 hour. Newcastle 1 and a half. Accessible by a good train system direct from London Kings X to Leeds/Skipton/Giggleswick. M6 30 mins away. A1/M 1 hour away.
