This is an ideal studio apartment for those who want a great base to explore the Languedoc & Rousillon region of southern France. The area is famous for 300 days of sunshine per year. This first floor apartment has uninterrupted direct south facing sea views. The furniture is new and modern with a fully equipped kitchen and the entire apartment has been recently re-decorated. The apartment is a larger than average studio measuring 8 metres by 4 metres. The balcony measures 3.5 metres by 2 metres.
The location is great for walking to the local bars and shops, as well as restaurants, banks and a casino. There is a large hypermarket within a 10 minute drive.
The development is gated with designated underground parking. There are 2 swimming pools (adult and children's) for residents and there are 2 beaches on either side of the complex. Tennis courts, volleyball and boules are also on site.
The apartment is looked after by a local letting agent whose office is located 150m away. The letting agency staff speak both English and French.
This is a fabulous apartment of 4 star standard without the 4 star price and is therefore the most popular apartment by choice. We look forward to accommodating you.

Bookings will be passed direct to the letting agent in France who will handle the key service on arrival/departure, and will handle all payments. They also speak English and French. The Languedoc-Roussillon / Herault region


The climate in this part of France is excellent. The summer is the hottest part of the year with daily temperatures of over 80 degrees fahrenheit and 12 hours of sunshine per day. During the winter months, the average daily temperature tends to be around 60 degrees fahrenheit. This part of France is the sunniest in the whole country with 300 days of sunshine per year.
The Sete / Cap Corniche area
The apartment is located near to many vineyards for tasting some of the finest wines in France. The town of Sete is 10 minutes away by car or 25 minutes by foot along a main coastal road with stunning sea views.
Sete is known as "little Venice" due to it's matrix of canals and waterways throughout the town. Sete is famous for producing oysters and great seafood is plentiful in all restaurants. The town is lively (especially in the summer where festivals happen on a weekly basis). The very famous water jousting competition attracts lots of people in the month of August. Attractions include Theatre de la Mer, where classical concerts are held regularly (15 minutes walk from the apartment). Mont St Clair (steep hill with great views). The best attraction of Sete has to be the 24 kilometres of unbroken beaches stretching down to Agde. There are also lots of museums and historical sites around the town.

The apartment is excellently situated, being right on the waters edge, a short walk from the beach and some lovely bars, whilst also being in easy reach of some fabulous REAL french restaurants. It's a home from home but with the perks of a truely french holiday. The town itself is more French than English which in my book is spot on - why travel and not see and experience the culture... There's actually a lot to do in the area, with site seeing, picnics in the hills, relaxing on the beach or wine tasting, it's all here with much more. The added bonus is the weather which is fantastic too! The owner is professional and friendly, he ensured that everything ran smoothly, needless to say, I'll definitely head back! S.P.
