La Sapiniere is an ideal base for anyone who prefers an individual approach to mountain holidays. Whether you’d like to ski, snowboard or ice-climb in the winter; retrace parts of the Tour de France route, go kayaking, mountain biking or mountaineering in the summer, the area has a lot to offer.
You’ll be able to relax by the log fire, catch the sun on the balcony or doze in front of the television when the day is done. The kitchen is equipped with electric cooker, hob and extractor hood, with a washing machine/dryer and dishwasher to take care of the chores.
All bedrooms have mountain views, with a mixture of single and double beds to accommodate various combinations of family and friends. And for those who prefer to combine business with pleasure, the top floor has a work station with broadband connection.

The Serre Chevalier / Villeneuve area
Serre Chevalier offers a great variety of activities.
If you're not tempted by the skiing, snowboarding or ice climbing in winter, you might enjoy mountain biking, mountaineering or hiking under the summer sun.
For those who prefer to take things a little easier, the area is rich in history with reminders of its Roman past at the thermal baths of Monêtier-les-Bains, stunning medieval frescoes in many of the valley’s churches and 18th century fortifications built by Vauban.
There's also a good selection of fine restaurants and well stocked cellars.

The chalet is in a perfect location close to the ski lifts. Walkable with children and all the kit. Also it is close to restaurants and local shops. The interior is so well presented and cosy. The log fire was easy to get going and provided more than enough heat. The owners were on hand to help and took us to get our ski boots fitted, which saved us a lot of hassle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and look forward to going back. |
