This superb second floor duplex apartment is located in the centre of the old village of Villeneuve, Serre Chevalier 1400. It is one of 5 apartments in the building which was originally constructed in 1742. Accommodation comprises 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom upstairs and 1 further double in the third bedroom downstairs. There are two bathrooms and two toilets, one of each on each floor.
The lounge has a fabulous open fire to sit around after a good days skiing and there is a south facing balcony looking out across the resort. Parking 50m away. Only 2 minutes walk to the Aravet ski lift and ski hire facilities where a free ski locker is provided. Only seconds away from bars and restaurants and shops nearby.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Hautes-Alpes region
Serre Chevalier is situated in the Hautes Alpes region of France. Nearby Briancon is the highest town in Europe and has a spectacular 15th Century fortifacations which house the old town.
The resort boasts 250km of pistes to suit all levels of skier or boarder. There is some fantastic off piste skiing which you will never tire of. Villeneuve is situated at the centre of the resort, being one of 13 Villages and hamlets that comprise Serre Chevalier, from Briancon 1200 up to Monetier les Bains 1500. Ski buses travel regularly up and down the valley transporting skiers and non skiers alike. Skiers can do 'The Circuit' which emcompasses the whole resort in a day.

How to get there
Budget airlines flying to Chambery (2 1/2 hrs), Grenoble (2 1/4hrs), Lyon (2 3/4 hrs) in France or Turin in Italy (1 3/4 hrs) for example Easyjet.com, Jet2.com, Ryanair.com and also British Airways. Or for the adventurous, take the overnight train from Paris direct to arrive in Briancon approx 8am the next morning. Airport buses operate from Lyon Airport to the resort in winter season. Car hire.
