About the home

3 bedrooms each with separate bath/shower room. Large living room with terrace onto the pool area. Separate dining room and fully fitted kitchen. Furnished in comfortable traditional style with satellite TV, WiFi connection, and heated pool.

The villa is set in beautiful gardens with palms, cactus and 15 varieties of fruit trees. The heated pool is next to the broad terrace from the lounge and is completely enclosed and secluded. There is a built in barbecue off to one side of the pool area with comfortable seating space for 8 people.

To secure a reservation a 30% deposit is required, the balance is payable 9 weeks before arrival
The rental fees include the use of the whole facility for up to 6 people plus weekly cleaning and laundry service.
A refundable security deposit of Euro 100.00 is payable with the rental fee or upon receipt of keys.
Extra beds, cots or high chairs can be arranged by special request.

Conditions

Children's cots can be placed in bedroom 1 and 2 to accommodate a family of 8.

The Algarve / West Algarve region

The western Algarve is the area south of the Monchique Serra and includes the southern coastal area from Portimao to the soutwestern tip of europe Sao Vicente. The coast is a 170km stretch of beaches of all kinds interspersed by small towns each with a character of its own. The beaches range from the 5km silver sand of Alvor to the spectacular vertical cliffs of Pont da Piedade. For sun or surf the western Algarve offers something for every taste.

Back from the coast there are some of the finest golf courses anywhere in Europe including renowned international courses such as Penina, Morgado or Alto Club. When its hot down at the sea the cool breezes and stunning views from the Monchique hillside are always a welcome change with lots of small restaurants providing a variety of local speciality sausages and cured hams.

For cultural input Silves is a must as the one-time capital of the region it boasts vestiges of the presence of Vikings, Romans, and of course Moors in the area and is of course the home of Portugal's cork research institute and museum.

The Serra e Mar area

Serra e Mar is a charming secluded mature location in a village style development just minutes from some of the best beaches and best golf courses in the Algarve.

The village is situated just off the A22 auto route 40 minutes by car from Faro Airport. You are close to the action but protected from the nuisance.

This is the place you fall in love with the first time you visit and just want to keep coming back.

turn right onto RN125 go 600m and turn right towards Alcalar
follow this small winding country road -pass under rail crossing
then bridge over A22 then take first right into Serra e Mar.
follow the number indications to the second turn on the right
and 32 is the corner house. Behind the white and pink oliander
hedge.

“Best villa ever” This is a wonderful holiday place. The villa is beautiful, spotlessly clean with all the stuff one could wish for including internet connection and everything you need in the kitchen (very important!!) The place has a great garden with all sorts of interesting trees and fruits I never had before . The pool and surroundings are very well put together providing plenty of sun for those who want it and a lot of shade for those who dont. It has a lovely covered barbecue which we thoroughly enjoyed. The owners made us feel very welcome, unlike some in previous villas we have stayed in. The area is very pretty and Alvor which is close has nice, not too expensive, restaurants. We will definitely come back

“Perfect house for a family on holiday” If you looking for a quiet house, not far from the city, this is the perfect home. Our children were non-stop in the pool, very clean and well maintained. The house itself is also very good, we felt like home. The owners are very friendly. Car is needed.
