PORT DICKSON (or PD as its known) is a small town outside Kuala Lumpur beside the state of Seremban. It is about an hour and half's drive away from KL and is a popular day-trip destination for locals.
The highlight of Port Dickson is definitely its beaches. Climate is sunny day and raining occasionally. Temperature varies from 26 to 33 degree Celsius.
The town of Port Dickson is built alongside the beach, which makes for a scenic drive as you travel into Port Dickson you'll be greeted with wide open views of the sea as well as local vendors selling coconut juice among other local delicacies.
Interesting tourist spots nearby includes: The Army Museum, Cape Rachardo Lighthouse, Mini Zoo, Ostrich farm and lots more
Cape Rachardo which was built in the 16th century by Portuguese settlers. At the Cape Rachardo, you'll find a lighthouse there that provides excellent views of the surrounding seas.
The lighthouse also serves as a layover for migrating birds, from September to March a variety of birds make pit stops at the Cape Rachardo Lighthouse that makes for some, well interesting photographs.
