About this location
The Cornwall region
Cornwall is the UK's most southerly county. Almost completely surrounded by the sea, a magnificent coastline wraps around Cornwall for almost 300 miles.
Cornwall is also the location of mainland Great Britain's most southerly point, The Lizard, and one of the UK's most westerly points, Land's End, while a few miles off shore and even further west is an archipelago of tiny islands that make up the Isles of Scilly.
Cornwall is renowned for its surfing, but other attractions include diving, kayaking, angling, walking, and cycling. Blessed with long golden beaches and the best weather Britain can offer, Cornwall also appeals to those who want a less hectic pace of life.
Sennen Cove is a 15 minute drive from Penzance and just a mile or so from Lands End.
From Trewollas cottage a leisurely 10 minute stroll through the sand dunes or along the golden sandy beach (check tide times here) will take you to Sennen Cove with its pub, The Old Success Inn, award winning restaurant The Beach, plus several cafes, galleries & shops.
In Upper Sennen village, there is a small supermarket and post office/newsagents, Fish and Chip shop and a pub.
A ten minute drive away is Penzance, with many of the familiar High Street and out-of-town stores.
Golf - Cape Cornwall Golf & Leisure, which has an 18 hole golf course and leisure facilities, is just 15 minutes away from Trewollas Cottage.
Surfing – There are surf schools in Sennen Cove and boards and equipment can be hired at Sennen Beach.

"beautiful cottage, with outstanding views."
Beautiful cottage, in outstanding location, with the most amazing views you could ever wish for. Right on the coastal path. So if you like walking its a must. Such a relaxing place to have a holiday. We only used our car twice during our stay, as so many walks right on our door step .sennen cove is lovely ,with a lovely cafe & fish& chip shop. Well worth a visit to both. Was our first visit to Trewollas, will not be our last.
