Top floor apartment with 3 balconies and panoramic seaviews. Lift right into the apartment. 3 double bedrooms, 2 batrhrooms (one en-suite). Fully airconditioned. Newly decorated and new kitchen and bathrooms with all white suites. You can sit on one of the balconies and watch all activety in the harbour, from arrival of the big cruise-liners turning around inside the harbour, small waterplanes taking off, quite facenating.Take a watertaxi over to Valletta or go fishing on the seafront. The rocks at Senglea Point is very favourd by local swimmers if you want a dip in the sea. Lunchtime or evening you can walk along the seafront for a meal,there are plenty of small restautants.

The Island of Malta region
The apartment is situated at Senglea Point on the seafront. Senglea is one of the three old cities in the Grand Harbour and build by the Knight's of St. John's of Jerusalem. Once the proud base of the British Navy, to day Grand Harbour is a thriving Cruise ship Harbour (Valletta) and International Yacht Marina . Senglea has charming narrow steets and lots of steps. Senglea Point is very favoured by local swimmers. The three old cities are Vittoriosa (Birgu ) Senglea (Isla) and Cospicua (Bormla ) one of the early settlements in Malta. Famous for The Siege in 1565
Senglea area
On the sea front you find nice cafes and restaurants and you have small supermarkets,butchers, green grocers and news agents. The local busses take you directly to Marsa Sportsclub for golf, tennis, a splash in a pool or into Valletta for a bit of shopping. Or take the bus in the other direction, south on the island, to a sandy beach. On 8th September is the local Fiesta and the famous regatta (rowing local boats in the Grand Harbour ). In the apartment you will find a folder with all kind of informations such as restaurant, historic places to visit, theatre and concerts etc. etc.
How to get there
You can fly daily to Malta International Airport. Just 3 hrs. from UK. There are several airlines flying in from differet airports in the UK. Scedule fligths with British Airways and Air Malta ,you also have several budget airlines as Air Malta from Stanstead, British Jet fly from Gatwick and Manchester and Ryan Air fly out of Luton We can recomend local Car Hire Firms from as little as £ 10 per day, and they don't want a deposit. As you properly know, the Maltese drive on the lefthand side of the road just like the British. When you arrive at the airport, you and your party will be collected and taken to the apartment free of charge.

Further details indoors: You will be collected free of charge at the airport. When you arrive at the apartment you will find botteled water, tea, coffe, and bread/buscuits and milk. Also lavatory paper, kitchen paper and black rubbishbags You will find a map of Senglea, marked with locations of shops and news agents. The shops usually close between 12 and 4 PM The beds will be ready laid out for you. Bedlinen/towels are changed once a week with the maid service If you want changes more often, we can do so at a small charge of Lm 3 pr.. person. If you stay more than 2 weeks there is a weekly maidservice free of charge The telephone has Easyline, you can use it with a prepaid top-up-card costing Lm2 or Lm 5 purchased from us or in any newsagents. There is a sofabed in the entrance hall / study for the 7th person.

If you want to book the apartment, we like to receive a security deposit of approx 1/3 of the rental rate into an English Bank Account . The rest of the rental 6 weeks before arrival. When 1/3 is paid, your booking is secure, and I send out two rental agreements, one for you to keep and one to return to us in Malta There will always be someone to meet you to hand over the keys, you can have as many sets you like (up to 6 sets)
