Seminyak / Kuta area
Kuta-Legian-Seminyak boasts the liveliest and most diverse nightlife on the island, with most bars and clubs staying open till at least 1am and many continuing till 6am. The cheapest, most traveller-oriented bars are concentrated in Kuta, with the more sophisticated expat-oriented clubs up in Legian and Seminyak.
There are hundreds of places to eat in Kuta-Legian-Seminyak, and the range is phenomenal, from tiny Balinese warung to plush international restaurants. In general, the most interesting restaurants are located in northern Legian and Seminyak, but they are relatively expensive at around Rp60,000 for a main course.
