Home description
This stunning rural finca (1,900 sq ft/175 sq m), built in 2000 in traditional style, is a haven of tranquillity being set in an ancient two acre olive grove in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountain. The fabulous swimming pool is set away from the house and unusually the two guest bedrooms are both in individual buildings, each with its own private terrace that enjoy breathtaking views over the rolling Majorcan countryside
The air conditioning in all the bedrooms ensure that they are cool in the summer and the open log fire and central heating guarantees warmth through the cooler months. Each bedroom has a kettle for an early morning cup of tea. There is a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast table, microwave, gas hobs and electric oven, dishwasher and two fridge freezers. Next to the kitchen there is a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities.
The sitting room is a comfortable and spacious room with Satellite TV, DVD, CD/Tape player. It has an open log fireplace. The dining room is partially open plan in between the kitchen and the sitting room. In front of the kitchen there is a covered terrace with a traditional bread oven and barbecue.
S’Alqueria Petita has no close neighbours but is within easy walking distance of the charming village of Caimari, which has two general stores, a tabac, bank, chemist, bars and an excellent family run restaurant. There are wonderful beaches less than half an hour’s drive as are both Palma and Pollenca. Several golf courses are even closer.
There is plenty on offer in under an hours drive for all ages as well as activities that will keep the more adventurous entertained. Deia and Soller are less than an hour over the mountains.

The Mallorca/Majorca region

Where the mountains meet the sea you will find lovely unspoilt coves, and in the mountains themselves lie many charming towns and monasteries. Across the centre and to the south east of the island lie plains dotted with windmills, whilst olive and almond groves flourish in the rich soil. Whether you choose to enjoy the island's many tourist attractions, or to simply drink in the wonderful scenery and rich culture.
Selva / Caimari area
The house is situated far away from the mass tourism in a lovely quiet space in the Tramunatana mountain range near the small village Caimari. From the house and all its rooms you have a fantastic view of the landscape of Caimari and Moscari.
The house is the ideal starting point for car excursions or long walks discovering the surroundings of Selva and the mountains. In Inca, the nearby town, you can find excellent shopping possibilities and every Thursday a large weekly market takes place in the town centre. By car you can reach the long sand beaches near Alcudia and Pollenca within approx. 20 minutes. Pollensa also offers one of the most beautiful golf courses of the island. Various excellent golf courses are situated in the South of the island, near Santa Ponsa and in Bendinat and Son Vida.
For a visit to Palma we recommend you to leave your car in Inca and to take the train to the city. This way you don’t have to worry about parking rules and fees.
