No.2 Fishermans Cottage is located at Ingestone, Foy, enclosed within one of the famous River Wye 'horseshoe' bends. The fully equipped cottage provides a unique opportunity to escape to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and to enjoy one of the most stunning parts of South Herefordshire.
The single storey cottage has a large open plan living room with a log burner (wood provided) and a well equipped kitchen. There is also the opportunity to sit/eat outside and enjoy views over the Wye Valley. The cottage is located near the Ingestone Heavy Horse Stables where Suffolks and Shires are led down to their paddocks and exercised by the river every day.
Ingestone is also a haven for wildlife and with a private two mile stretch of river bank available to guests for walking there is a good chance to see a leaping salmon or birdlife such as hobbies, kites, kingfishers and Buzzards.

The Herefordshire region
This secluded base is also an ideal base from which to explore the surronding area. There are superb pubs within easy reach of the cottage and superb walking opportunites from the doorstep. The charming local town of Ross-on-Wye is a 15 minute drive from the cottage and has a wide variety of pubs, supermarkets, and retail outlets.
The cathedral cities of Gloucester and Hereford as well as the charming Welsh border towns of Abergavenny and Monmouth are within a 30 minute drive. Offa's Dyke, the Wye Valley Trail and the Forest of Dean all provide wonderful walking country.
Cheltenham for shopping, Hay-on-Wye for books and Ludlow with its gastronomic delights are within 45 minutes drive away.
