We stayed here October 2012 and had a very nice holiday. The cottage is just right for 2 and is equipped with all you could want for a self catering break. The cottage is well maintained and very eco friendly. It is bright and full of character and most importantly, very clean. Our hosts Barbara and her partner are available should you require anything and the welcome pack they provide is second to none...thanks!!! Ettrickbridge is a very relaxing and quiet place with a pub (serves food but only has seasonal opening times), a phone box and a few houses. The cottage does not get mobile signals and there is no internet but you will not be bored as there are lots of books, games, CDs and DVDs. It really is somewhere to go to get away from it all!! I would thoroughly recommend Brigend Cottage and we will be back!! |
