Cottage description :

« La Taupinière » - in English "The Molehill" - is designed to welcome 2 people (max. 3 - mattress or baby bed available on request) or for 4 people, if you take the option of the second room. The second room is designed in the shape of a pretty Eastern house made of wood, is a free-standing structure, and is located just opposite the terrace of the cottage.

Well insulated and heated during the winter, this house does not have any other equipment than the beds, and isn't available to be rented on its own. Its occupants will benefit from the equipment of the Molehill.

A very particular care was taken in the realization of the country cottage, its decoration and the choice of materials and the equipment used. Primarily equipped with wood, it has a large room (open on the terrace) which houses the livingroom with lunch-corner, a well furnished international library, the “American” kitchen luxuriously furnished and equipped, and the bathroom with a corner bath-tub and wash-hand basin, a small laundry, separate toilets. The bedroom is situated on the mezzanine, with a 140 cm wide bed, and very large wall cupboards.

The 12m2 terrace, made of wood, is equipped with a table and 4 chairs in acacia, as well as a barbecue, is illuminated at night, and is overlooking the beautiful one hectare garden and its vast pond abounding with lotus, water lilies, frogs, water hens and other dragonflies…

By good weather, and if the atmosphere is very clear, perhaps will you have the pleasant surprise to discover in the backdrop the very majestic Pyrenees with their snow-covered tops…  .

Located at a stone's throw from the first buttresses of the Pyrenees mountain chain, at the crossing roads leading to Auch, Toulouse and Lannemezan, the small village of Moncorneil-Grazan is shared between the valley of the Arrats river and the green slopes of Haut-Astarac.

It is at middle height of one of these slopes that you will find the Cassaet  locality, an old farm from 1740, made from raw earth and half-timberings, whose restoration, in the respect of the traditional techniques, was ultimately completed in 2010 with the installation of the Molehill cottage. The cottage, accessed independently from the house, opens at the back of the house, on the first floor, with a broad terrace made of wood and overlooking the beautiful one hectare garden and its vast pond abounding with lotus, water lilies, frogs, water hens  and other dragonflies…

By good weather, and if the atmosphere is very clear, perhaps will you have the pleasant surprise to discover in the backdrop the very majestic Pyrenees with their snow-covered tops…
