About this location
The Worcestershire region
Sedgeberrow is at the foot of the Cotswold Hills - an area to visit beautiful villages, stately homes, NT properties and gardens, or merely lots of walking. The Malverns, Stratford (Shakespeare's birthplace), Cheltenham and Birmingham are all close by for further walking, shopping or sight-seeing. If you are looking for something more relaxing then it is also ideal for relaxing in the garden or swimming in the heated outdoor pool (shared, and a 5 minute walk away).
Sedgeberrow is on the outskirts of the Vale of Evesham - this area is reknown for fruit and vegetable growing as the Vale itself has its own micro-climate - hence the fabulous fruit and veg. From April to June is the British Asparagus Festival, and local farm shops are in abundance - much nicer than purchasing fruit and veg from the local supermarkets! Evesham itself is home to musical festivals, food festivals, fishing festivals and more.
Sedgeberrow itself is a small village with a lovely little river (River Isbourne) running through it. A pub is within 100yds of the cottages, plus there is a small park for children. Nearby villages and towns also have fabulous parks and plenty of walking along the riverside.
If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet, country holiday, then this is the place to visit.
