The apartment has 2 bedrooms, lounge area and kitchen diner, and has been renovated to a high standard, it is on the edge of the village with uninterrupted views, so is ideal for quiet and relaxation, the village is a 2 minute walk with all the amenities, bars, shops, restaurant and a chemist. The area is ideal for walkers.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Andalusia is the largest of the administrative regions of Spain and has eight provincial capitals of which Malaga is one. Axarquia is a region of Malaga and Sedella is a village in this region.
Sedella is located 75mins drive north east of Malaga airport and is at a height of 2100 ft above sea level.


Sedella area

Sedella lies 62 kilometres from Malaga and 20 to 30 minutes drive from the coastal resorts of Nerja and Torre del Mar. It stands at 689 metres altitude in the foothills of the Sierra Tejeda and Sierra Almijara mountain ranges. There are magnificent views of these mountains and on clear days you can also see the Atlas Mountains.

We strongly advise hiring a car, if you do decide not to take this option we can arrange airport transfers at an extra cost.

There is also the option of having beauty treatments facials, waxing etc at very reasonable prices as I have a home salon.Guided walks are also available.

Local activities include easy walking up to serious altitude walks, skiing in the Sierra Nevada is 2hrs drive away, mountain biking, quad trekking and much more. The area is famed for its bird life from bee eaters to vultures and eagles, ibex and boar roam the higher peaks.
For the cultural Malaga and Granada are an easy drive as is the nightlife of Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Marbella. The local beaches are a 35 min drive away in Torre del Mar.
There are also water parks, a theme park with rides, a crocodile park and Selwo a marine and safari park, within a 2hr drive.

Or just come out to relax, enjoy the fresh mountain air and lovely views, in the summer months the village 25m outdoor pool is open.

Fly to Málaga

There are various car hire companies at the airport, Helle Hollis and Car Jet are two examples.
It only takes 60-70 minutes to drive from Malaga Airport to Sedella.

Located in a spectacular position on the edge of the village this property has the best of both worlds, easy access to all the village facilities and a sublime country outlook with uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains.
Today however, the property has been sympathetically modernised using traditional methods to provide a comfortable home without losing any of its original charm. The apartment has approx. 56 m2 of interior living space comprising: Open plan lounge / diner with a rustic style kitchen, large bathroom with an artistic stone shower tray and two double bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a picture window to take advantage of the wonderful views. All rooms have exposed beams, lintels and brickwork which give the property a great deal of character.
Unusually for a village property, there are two patio areas for dining and relaxing and a garden with orange and lemon trees with a large vegetable patch.
In the village are a number of shops, bars and restaurants, there is also a bank, chemist and internet school.
On arrival there will be a welcome pack waiting for you.
There is also the option of having full english breakfast at €6 per person per day.

The village now has an oudoor pool 25 x 10 which is open July and August.
