Luxurious 3-bed villa in superb private position furnished to a high standard with large pool. Lovely location with uninterrupted views of countryside and distant sea views in quiet cul-de-sac at Secret Valley Golf Resort, Paphos.
Spacious, light & airy interior with 10mx5m private pool & beautiful large garden with palm trees & car port. South-facing villa and pool area has all-day sun with shady terrace for relaxing & dining al fresco.
Our guests enjoy privacy in peaceful and attractive surroundings.
The best of both worlds: unique, quiet location within easy reach of all amenities. 10 minutes to Paphos Airport, 15-20 to Paphos centre, 15 to Pissouri beach, 3 to the golf course & 6 to Aphrodite Hills. Within minutes of Kouklia and Mandria villages with numerous excellent inexpensive local tavernas.
All mod cons including recently installed WiFi, Sony TV with satellite, DVD player, hi-fi, dishwasher, washer, iced water dispenser, air con & heating. Newly redecorated and refurnished in April 2012 to a very high standard and furniture from Bo Concept.

The villa has just been redecorated and refurnished to a high standard. Downstairs is a spacious modern open-plan design with ample room for 8 people in both the dining and lounge areas. The whole of the downstairs has a light and airy feel with large patio doors which create a gentle through breeze.
The kitchen is well equipped with all mod cons including washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge freezer, iced water dispenser , kettle, toaster, iron, etc. In the lounge area there is a 29" Sony TV with Astra satellite, DVD and CD players.
The master bedroom with king size bed has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. A hair drier is provided. The two twin-bedded rooms share a modern family bathroom also with bath and shower. All bedrooms have high ceilings to allow the heat to rise, generous wardrobe space and balconies with tables and chairs. The master and second bedroom balconies overlook the olive groves and the sea. There is a further WC downstairs and air conditioning/heating in all bedrooms and living areas.
The living area is large, while at the same time maintaining a cosy atmosphere. Equally suitable for couples, families or groups of six.

Further details outdoors:
Villa Olivia has a lovely large and well-stocked Mediterranean garden with a herb garden, bougainvillea, hibiscus, palm trees and a range of other plants. The garden is fenced and screened with hibiscus hedges to ensure total privacy. The hibiscus at the bottom of the garden is kept to the height of the fence to allow guests to enjoy uninterrupted views over the olive grove. There is also a car port and external lockable room for the storage of golf clubs, cycles or other sporting equipment.

Bed linen and hand and bath towels are provided. Guests are advised to bring their own beach/pool towels.
A cot and high chair are available on request.

Flight times: we try to be as flexible as possible to ensure our guests have a first class holiday. If you have early or late flight times into Paphos or Larnaca, please inform us and we will try our best to accommodate you.

The Paphos region

Cyprus is an island of history and culture that enjoys 340 days of sunshine a year. Maximum temperatures in Paphos range from 19 degrees in December to 29 degrees in July with many months having little or no rainfall. Paphos old town (a 15-minute drive from Villa Olivia) is full of interesting places to visit, such as Tomb of the Kings or the ancient harbour and fort, now lined with picturesque restaurants and tavernas. Paphos also has a good shops and vibrant nightlife. Cyprus is a former British Crown colony and the good news is that the Cypriots drive on the left.
Hire a car and drive around the island - head over the scenic Troodos mountains through the vineyards and up to Latchi village with its picturesque fishing harbour and fantastic fish restaurants, or head East towards Limassol or the capital Nicosia.

The Secret Valley Resort area

Within 15 minutes is the sandy beach of Pissouri, which also has excellent local tavernas and restaurants frequented by locals and visitors alike. Kouklia and Mandria are the two closest villages and great places to eat - at a fraction of the price of central Paphos. Kouklia now has 8 tavernas serving excellent, fresh local food, with Cypriot night on a Thursday, and Mandria has four. Both are well worth visiting
The prestigious Secret Valley Clubhouse a couple of minutes from the villa is open to the public and the terrace is a great place to relax and enjoy a drink, brunch or lunch whilst watching the golfers struggle below.
Just 6 or 7 minutes up the road is the 5 star resort of Aphrodite Hills where you can enjoy a game of golf or tennis, relax at the spa, go shopping or visit one of the bars, restaurants and there's even a pizzeria.
If golf is your game, then Villa Olivia is in the place for you! There's Secret Valley Golf Club, a challenging course set in a scenic valley surrounded by spectacular rock formations and mature trees. 7 or 8 minutes up the road is the 5-star Aphrodite Hills Golf Course and Resort, which also has restaurants, cafes, shopping, tennis and a spa. 20 minutes into the hills is Minthis Hills Golf Club, designed by Donald Steel. It is a 6,060 metre par 72 course which, at an altitude of 550 metres, which benefits from cooling breezes.
The new Elea, designed by Nick Faldo, near Paphos Airport is the latest addition to golf clubs in the area and the luxurious clubhouse is worth a visit for the impressive surroundings and excellent food. Non-golfers welcome.

Villa Olivia is just 7km from Paphos Airport.
Numerous scheduled and charter flights operate from airports throughout the UK to Paphos including Easyjet, BA, Excel, Cyprus Airways, BMI, Thomson, First Choice, Air 2000, Libra and Helios.
Inexpensive car hire is available from a number of companies, such as economycarrentals.com and cyprus-car-rental.co.uk. Inside the airport are variouas car hire companies including Hettz, Avis, Europcar and Sixt.
Local taxis are also available.

“Fantastic” This was our first time hiring a villa, usually we have gone on package holidays but we will never do that again. The Villa was wonderful, the sense of space and furnishings were to a high standard and having our own pool was fantastic we used it everyday and just had a great time relaxing. Everything that was advertised was available and more. The welcome pack was so appreciated when we arrived, and Robert and Susan were fantastic in looking out for us. Robert managed to show us how to tune the satellite in order that we watched the Euro's. If you are looking for a lovely villa with pool, that is so relaxing and quiet then this place is for you, we have two teenage boys who just loved it and never once said they were bored. Thanks for all your help Patricia.
