Villa Kalika is a superb 3-bedroomed villa equipped to a very high standard in a fantastic location. This is a quality villa with a large 10m x 5m private pool surrounded by beautiful countryside, yet within easy reach of all amenities. Unlike the brand new villas in long rows at Secret Valley, Villa Kalika is one of only 6. It was built 3 years ago and is much more spacious with a large enclosed garden with lovely plants like bougainvillea, hibiscus and fan palms. From the villa you have open country and distant sea views and when relaxing outside by the pool, in the garden on the balconies, you are not overlooked by anybody. We want you to have a super holiday and are proud to say that , due to Villa Kalika's luxury and privacy, our flexibility on changeover days & times (to try and fit in with your flights) and Cyprus's 340 days of sunshine per year, EVERY ONE of our guests over the last 2 years has enjoyed a lovely holiday with us.

The Paphos District

Cyprus is an island of history and culture that enjoys 340 days of sunshine a year. Maximum temperatures in Paphos range from 19 degrees in December to 29 degrees in July with many months having little or no rainfall. Paphos old town (a 15-minute drive from Villa Kalika) is full of interesting places to visit, such as Tomb of the Kings or the ancient harbour and fort, now lined with picturesque restaurants and tavernas. Paphos also has a good shops and vibrant nightlife. Cyprus is a former British Crown colony and the good news is that the Cypriots drive on the left and the currency is the (Cyprus) pound.
Hire a car and drive around the island - head over the scenic Troodos mountains through the vineyards and up to Latchi village with its picturesque fishing harbour and fantastic fish restaurants, or head East towards Limassol or the capital Nicosia.

Secret Valley Resort area

Within 10 minutes is the sandy beach of Pissouri, which also has excellent local tavernas and restaurants (less expensive than Paphos) - frequented by locals and visitors alike, as do the even closer villages of Kouklia and Mandria. The prestigious Secret Valley Clubhouse a couple of minutes from the villa is open to the public and the terrace is a great place to relax and enjoy a drink, brunch or lunch whilst watching the golfers struggle below.
Just 6 or 7 minutes up the road is the 5 star resort of Aphrodite Hills where you can enjoy a game of golf or tennis, relax at the spa, go shopping or visit one of the bars, restaurants and there's even a pizzeria.
If golf IS your game, then Villa Kalika is in the place for you! There's Secret Valley Golf Club, a challenging course set in a scenic valley surrounded by spectacular rock formations and mature trees. 7 or 8 minutes up the road is the 5-star Aphrodite Hills Golf Course and Resort, which also has restaurants, cafes, shopping, tennis and a spa. 20 minutes into the hills is Tsada Golf Club, designed by Donald Steel. It is a 6,060 metre par 72 course which, at an altitude of 550 metres, which benefits from cooling breezes.

How to get there

Villa Kalika is just 7km from Paphos Airport.
Numerous scheduled and charter flights operate from airports throughout the UK to Paphos including BA, Excel, Cyprus Airways, BMI, Thomson, First Choice, Air 2000, Libra and Helios.
Inexpensive car hire is available from a number of companies, such as economycarrentals.com and cyprus-car-rental.co.uk
Local taxis are also available.

Downstairs is a spacious modern open-plan design with ample room for 8 people in both the dining and lounge areas. The kitchen is well equipped with all mod cons including Bosch appliances and iced water dispenser. In the lounge area there is a 29" Sony Wega satellite TV, DVD and CD players.
The master bedroom with king size bed has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. The two twin-bedded rooms share a modern family bathroom also with bath and powerful shower. All bedrooms have high ceilings, generous wardrobe space and balconies with tables and chairs There is a further WC downstairs and air conditioning/heating in all bedrooms and living areas.

Villa Kalika has a lovely Mediterranean garden which is fenced, a car port and an external room, which is lockable, for the storage of golf clubs, cycles or other sporting equipment.

Bed linen and hand and bath towels are provided. Guests are advised to bring their own beach/pool towels.
A cot and high chair are available on request.
