The Paphos District
Paphos itself consists of two towns, each with its very own character. Ktima on the cliff (Upper Paphos) and Kato Paphos by the sea (Lower Paphos). One is virtually unchanged over the centuries and thoroughly Cypriot, while the other has expanded over the last decade from a sleepy fishing village and harbour, into a vibrant cosmopolitan resort which is expanding and improving each year.
In Kato Paphos, (in the archaeological park), you will find many fine mosaics and buildings from Greek and Roman periods, plus the Harbour Castle. Close by, is the church of St Paul's Pillar, where the pillar St Paul was tied to can be found. Further down this road are the Tombs of the Kings and Christian Catacombs.
Going West from Paphos, there is Coral Bay with its European Blue Flag beach, then the unspoilt Akamas Peninsula, where there is then Lara Bay, (famous for turtles) and Latchi, famous for its seafront and harbour restaurants as well as the clean sandy beach and crystal clear waters.
Secret Valley Resort area
Secret Valley, is a highly prestigious golf course located by the renowned area of "Petra tou Romiou", the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, the Goddess of love. It is set in a scenic valley surrounded by mature trees and beautiful natural rock formations. Consistently appearing as the preferred course amongst the island's visiting players in terms of sheer playability and enjoyment Secret Valley really is a must for golfing enthusiasts worldwide.
The development is conveniently situated for visits to the islands other golf courses including Aphrodite Hills which is but 2 km away and the newly refurbished Tsada (20 mins drive). The popular villages of Pissouri and Kouklia are but a few minutes drive as are the many beaches in the area and the main towns of Paphos and Limassol can be reached in under half an hour.

Above Secret Valley itself, lies the road to the Troodos Mountains and Cedar Valley. The route is peppered with other small but charming villages along the way. There is an excellent highway which runs to all corners of Cyprus but the old coast road is the most scenic route. A drive along here past various ancient sites such as Aphrodite's Birthplace and Temple, towards Limassol, taking in Curium, is delightful and is littered with the most beautiful views.

The main living accommodation of the villa is between 2 floors. The living room features large leather sofas and entertainment system to include 40’’ LCD TV with Surround Sound system, Satellite (UK FTV Channels) and DVD with ‘MP3 line in’. The dining area is very modern with seating for 6 on high backed chairs around a glass topped table. The kitchen is fully equipped and has all major appliances (including that all important dishwasher). The rear terrace which is shaded by pergola with woven fabric has a very stylish black granite surface with the seating allowing guests to overlook the pool and take in the views of the surrounding countryside and Mediterranean Sea. A cloakroom completes the downstairs.
Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms, an en-suite shower to the master bedroom, and a balcony with panoramic sea views plus a spacious family bathroom. All bedrooms are fitted with wardrobes. The 2 double rooms have king-sized beds and the 3rd room is a twin.

Outside there is a generously sized and private colourful garden (with 6 sun loungers) surrounding a clear blue swimming pool for your leisure. There is a large Stone Built BBQ, Shaded terrace and a long granite surfaced table with 8 chairs. This provides the ideal place for relaxing in the shade, taking in the views, alfresco dining and socialising with your party. Although there are other villa around, the position of the pools means privacy is still good. Everything has been carefully planned and provided for a stress free, all taken care of holiday where you can simply relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

We can arrange taxi transfer by our own driver who knows where the property is and assist with car hire from the airport if desired. The property is professionally managed (you will always have a contact) and has linen changes and cleaning on a weekly basis. The villa is lovely inside and out, the pool is excellent and larger than the normal size you find in Cyprus, bathrooms we're spotless and nicely laid out. Everything we required was there - air-con, bbq, dishwasher, Satellite Tv etc. and again all was modern and well presented. The area was ideal for us, just 5mins from Aphrodite's rock and it's lovely quiet beach, and only a short drive away from Paphos. There was building work being finished off near by but the workers were hardly there and always unobtrusive. We'll most likely be going back to Paphos and will be looking to book this villa again.
