Perfect for the avid golfer or those seeking a relaxing holiday, Villa Lima is set in the hills above Secret Valley has landscaped gardens and its own private pool. All bedrooms have balconies and patio doors, the front two rooms having views of the sea.
Set on the edge of the mountains and just under a kilometre to the sea, the villa is perfect for anyone wanting a relaxing break with excellent golf close by and walks in the surrounding area which has an abundance of flora and fauna some of which are indigenous to Cyprus. The villa is close to Aphrodite's birth place and only 10 minutes drive from Paphos airport and 15 minutes from Paphos town. Secret Valley golf complex and Aphrodite Hills golf complex both have excellent restaurants whilst Kouklia and Mandria villages are a few minutes drive away and have restaurants, shops and a post office. The busy port of Limassol is less than 30 minutes drive and Larnaca around an hour and 15 minutes.

The Paphos District
Whether you prefer fine dining, nightlife, golfing, culture, walking, shopping, markets or just relaxing Paphos area has something for everyone. Within easy reach are the traditional rural villages of Kouklia and Mandria.
Fancy something a bit more bustling? Then Paphos town is only approximately 10km away with many restaurants, tavernas, cafes, pubs, nightclubs, and shops. Whether you’re interested in culture or not a must see is Heritage Centre by the harbour. With an abundance of mosaics going back around 2,000 years you can’t fail to be impressed by the sheer size and precision of these tiny blocks of tiles. Wander round in awe then discuss them over lunch at one of the restaurants serving excellent food by the harbour. Children will be delighted to see the resident pelican!
The Tombs of the Kings on the aptly named road of the same name gives a glimpse into how life was for the more affluent ancient society of Paphos with it’s underground tombs. Thought to be tombs of wealthy business men rather than kings, this site is very much worth a visit.
Children energetic? They will love looking for turtles on the Akamas peninsula or you care tire them out (and yourselves) at Paphos’ new local attraction, The Aphrodite Water park.
Further afield are the busy port of Limassol (20 mins drive) and Larnaca (approx 1 hr 15 mins). Visit the capital Nicosia (approx 1hr 30 mins) as well as an abundance shops and restaurants, you can visit the observatory in the Shokalin Tower to learn about the Turkish invasion and gaze over to the Turkish side of the island.
Secret Valley Resort area
Villa Lima is well placed for access to the local golf courses. If you wonder how Secret Valley got it's name then take a short drive up from the coast and you will see why. Arguably the most picturesque of golf courses, this challenging par 71 course is on the edge of the Troudos mountains and has it's own natural waterfall in the winter months. In contrast, Aphrodite Hills, a 3 minute drive away is set on the top of the hillside and has tremendous views of the coastline. Tsada golf course is a short 20 minutes drive away and is situated on the top of the mountains with unparalled views. The energetic can do all three courses in one day!
Within easy reach of the villa are the beautiful rural villages of Kouklia, with traditional bars and restaurant, shop and Post Office, and Mandria with its own secluded beach, undisturbed coastline, shops, supermarket, bank and tavernas. Mandria village square is small and enticing. This was Cyprus 30 years ago with a couple of tavernas, a kiosk, and a co-op bank. There is a Greek Orthodox church in the heart of the village. Join the locals– they are very friendly people especially if there is a wedding!

Further details indoors: The spacious accommodation is fully equipped with quality furnishings - not the usual furniture found in self catering holidays. Comfortable and stylish lounge and bedroom furniture. The kitchen has a dishwasher, full size oven and ceramic hob, washer, fridge-freezer, microwave and an abundance crockery and cooking utensils to make your stay a home from home experience. Bicycles can be hired and delivered to the villa.
Sleeping 6 adults in one double bedroom en suite, and two twin bedrooms, the spacious accommodation is fitted with quality furnishings and is fully equipped (eg air conditioning, dishwasher, washer, sunbeds etc). Linen and bath towels provided (Please bring your own beach/pool towels).
Further details outdoors: The villa has patio doors to every room. There are patios on three sides where a patio table and chairs await those warm evening dinners. There is a further large sun patio by the pool with sun loungers and umbrella. The professionally landscaped gardens lead to a car port and driveway which will accommodate 2 cars. The villa grounds are totally surrounded by walls and fencing and there is plenty of outside lighting.

CONTACT PERSON ON SITE: There is a contact person close by for any queries you may have. WELCOME PACK ON ARRIVAL: Includes tea, coffee, sugar, bread, butter, eggs, jam, fruit juice & water. WEEKLY VILLA CLEAN: After first week of stay a full villa clean and all towels changed. POOL: The pool is maintained throughout the year by a professional cleaning service which visit twice a week. There is discreet lighting in the swimming pool itself which creates a very relaxing atmosphere during the evening hours. Note: Towels for the pool are not provided.

This is the third time we have stayed at Villa Lima and we always have a fantastic time. The standard of furnishings and equipment is very high - a true home from home!
